Great, easy stop as we travel through. Called for last minute booking and they were able to take us. Has some nice trees that appear all trimmed so no scratches to your RV. Friendly staff.

Neat, clean, great little place to stop overnight or if you are spending a few days in Abilene. Owner and staff friendly and accommodating. Easy on and off Interstate 20 and quiet at night. Dog friendly!

This place is also called Phil's Hideaway RV park. I found it to be well-maintained. I love the pull through sites, the facilities were clean and the hookups were easy. The pool was clean and looked very inviting. I was sorry I didn't have time to use it. They have several small log cabins that you can also rent.

We have stayed here two or three times. Its a nice stop between travels, so we typically arrive late. The room already had its AC on already which is refreshing in July. The room was clean. No bugs. Clean bathrooms.

Extremely disappointed with our stay at KOA Abilene. It’s already July, and the pool has supposedly been closed since April with no clear updates or timeline for reopening. That’s one of the main reasons people book in the summer — totally misleading. On top of that, the bathrooms don’t even have AC. It’s Texas. In July. How hard is it to install a basic window unit or grab something from Home Depot or Lowe’s? It’s miserable trying to shower or get ready in that heat. Not the KOA experience we expected. Definitely won’t be returning

Very nice KOA! Well maintained and definitely deserving of the awards it received in 2021. The office is well stocked and the staff are helpful.

Super friendly staff. Nice level sites. Good playground for the kids. Clean restrooms. We would definitely stay here again. There is noise from I20 but that’s to be expected with close proximity to an Interstate.

Great tent sites, easy and close access to the bathrooms. Site had covered picnic table, grill, water and electric. Very reasonable prices. Campground and facilities were kept clean, staff was welcoming and friendly. Definitely plan on returning when we make it back this way.

Wonderful, wonderful! Very clean, and cute (bathrooms), with instantly hot water everywhere. We were able to get a Kabin late, as we were just passing through during a winter storm and decided it’d probably be best to get off the road. Freezing temps and Angelina was our angel 😊 Great stay! Thank you!
