It was one of the best campgrounds that I experienced in the U.S. , we reserved the camp site in the island and also we rent a boat to reach to our campsite so we could have the boat for the whole day and we went to the lake for boating at the middle of the night and looking at the sky and the stars was amazing. There are the toilet cabins for each campsite.

Amazing site! Tons of spots along the various shores with a mossy woodland hike between each

I have been coming here since I was in diapers. One of the best places to camp, canoe, swim, fish and relax. Starting going here with my parents and brothers, in my teens and 20’s I took my best friends, now I get to take my husband. This lake is gorgeous, peaceful and the rangers over the many decades have been the best in the nation (in my humble option). I hope to come here for the rest of my life.

Idyllic. Canoe in to get off the beaten path. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful in making sure we had a place to stay for the night, especially Ethan. Each site on the water is equipped with a place to beach or dock a boat, an outhouse, and a bear locker for food/trash. Hope to be back here soon.

We stayed at site 46 and it was awesome! Beautiful moonrises, great sunrises, all tucked in a cozy little private cove! Pit toilets, bear boxes, picnic table and metal fire pit at our site and every other site, I’d assume. We’ll be back next year!

Super cool spot, Canoe is 20$ a day Firewood is 11$/bag These spots seem like coolest Island spot which has two campgrounds: 52 11,12,13, all seem really cool. I was at 22 its nice and secluded and you get the sun in your face from 4 to 8 We had no bugs at all except for peski flies while we were canoeing Great spot!

Ideal location for camping by the lake. Check before booking if you will be able to take your vehicle to the actual site or not. Some of the site location you might have to use boat to go if you don’t wanna walk thru the forest. Don’t worry if you don’t have boat as canopy is available on rent just for $20. Also firewood is available on the camp site which is little costlier. Also camp manager is available on the site always and very helpful. Don’t miss the sunrise. Enjoy

Love Forked Lake. Campsites are secluded and private. Its peaceful and therapeutic. You get the illusion of wilderness camping without being too far from the boat launch. Go every year after labor day when the crowds have dispersed for the season.

It a nice quiet place to be and relax from the city life..then u have people complaining about no network service hello it a camp site this is a perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature's and leave all electronic put away until u leave the site..and then complaining about garbage any campsites u go to u must bring your own garbage bag to throw your own trash this is not a 3 star hotel and get room service...the things people complain about is ridiculous thats why is call camping it about disconnecting from the world and enjoying nature...
