This is our first year as seasonal campers here. We are with a group of friends - 6 campsites in total - and we are all so happy we moved to Modoc! This has been one of the most enjoyable camping summers we’ve ever had. My kids love all of the activities that are included. Management/staff have been fantastic! Very helpful and accommodating. Just put our deposit down for next season!

I’ve camped here several times in the past and always had great experiences, but this year was a major disappointment. Activities were consistently shut down earlier than advertised. One Sunday, I took my kids to the store for ice cream, only to find it had closed early. During weekday stays, the inflatables were closed by 3:30 PM, even though they’re supposed to stay open until 4. On the weekend, nighttime security cleared out the park earlier than usual and sent all the kids back to their campers. What’s more alarming is that the manager’s boyfriend—who works as part of the security team—was seen driving around drunk in a golf cart, appearing to be carrying a gun. When he wasn’t behind the wheel, he was riding with the manager, Marty. The manager herself came off as rude, unprofessional, and not welcoming toward families or children. This kind of behavior and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially in a place that’s supposed to be family-friendly. Sadly, this year’s visit has made me reconsider returning in the future.

Been here several times and it gets better every time we visit! The staff is friendly including the manager but unfortunately, not everyone knows how to be respectful and considerate of others. They have very basic rules that are clearly geared towards safety and consideration of those of us that don’t want to party ALL night long. Ive never seen the manager be anything but kind even when she has to deal with drunk or unruly people. We will keep coming back because we scan clearly see that this management team cares about making this place nice for everyone. Treat people that way you want to be treated.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. WORST CAMP GROUND EXPERIENCE IN INDIANA!!! I will never be coming to this campground again management is absolutely horrible, Talks to the customers like garbage. Quiet after 11 PM is very heavily enforced. You can’t even close your camper door after 11 PM without receiving a complaint from other campers stating that you were too loud and if you do get a complaint from the other campers management treats you like you are The lowest trash possible, and will not even hear your side of the story without constantly interrupting you. Management made us feel so bad that we decided to leave two days early when we had initially planned on staying for three days. The lake smells like dead fish, and will make your skin itch. I Wish I would’ve seen this in somebody else’s review, but if you are afraid of snakes, I wouldn’t bother considering this campground to have fun at my friend that I was camping with seen MULTIPLE SNAKES! If you plan on tent camping, keep in mind that they may put you about 2 inches away from a very busy road where you feel like your tent could possibly get ran over in the middle of the night while you’re sleeping! Also, prices are very outrageous at this campground they will squeeze every penny out of you that they possibly can. So in conclusion, unless you are 90 years old, a millionaire don’t have children or pets, go to bed by 11 PM and don’t plan on swimming in the lake at all I would definitely consider A better quality campground to enjoy!

I called about a site close to the pond for swimming assuming the pull through sits were the best. I ask about a pull through and explained I’d like to be close to the pond. The lady told me of a nice back on site close to the pond. Great it’ll work perfect. However she failed to mention it’s a very small site with no grass only gravel. That was disappointing they didn’t mention that before booking. Upon arrival I ask if I could up grade or move stating all the reasons above they were sold out. No apologies for selling me a gravel campsite with disclosure.

Very happy with my weekend camp spot. Very clean park, super nice staff, very easy to navigate, and offers alot more than any other local camps. I wish I would have known about this place over the summer because I would bring the nephew and nieces for the amazing water park. I will be back again next year for sure!

I would give this place 10 stars if that were an option. From the last-minute check-in on June 27th for what was supposed to be a three-day stay to our departure date of tomorrow, we have been treated with nothing but respect, and kindness, and have been welcomed by everyone. Adventure Bound has so much for the kids & adults to do, that you will definitely return for future visits. A Huge Thank You to Marti & all the staff for treating us like family. Keep your eye out for us, We Will Back For Another Visit.

Everyone, including the manager mentioned a couple of times in reviews, was nothing but pleasant. Plenty of activities for kids. Playground is more than sufficient and new along with a huge bounce pad. The lake inflatable bounce/obstacle thing might night be for all but beach is nice and there's also paddle boats. Unlike some places, this is included in the already reasonable price. I spent almost as much here for 2 sites as a KOA the holiday weekend before for one site.) That alone allowed me to justify renting a golf cart, which i highly recommend as this is a large, enjoyable campground. All of my kids say we definitely will be back. Restrooms are a bit outdated but were very clean. Excellent ice cream;) Don't let negative reviews from those unwilling to follow rules/procedures keep you from having fun here;)

I stayed in rustic cabin, it was a great time. Air conditioning worked great and enough beds to accommodate my little family. Clean and spacious for sure. Camp store well stocked with whatever I needed. Great/friendly staff that was very helpful during our stay. And they had plenty of activities for the whole family. 10 out 10 will be staying again.

First time campers to this campground and we definitely recommend for families. I wanted to give a little feedback based on some previous reviews. 1. Anyone who has swam in a lake, pond etc should know that it can turn your swimsuits colors… especially light colors 🤦🏼‍♀️ dress accordingly. 2. It is not uncommon for parasites to live in lakes, ponds, etc … our family was fine when swimming for multiple hours. 3. Follow the rules provided by the campground and you shouldn’t run into problems with the staff. 4. Other campgrounds offer the water blow ups but charge per hour so this is definitely a steal and worth the price. 5. The camp store closes at 4pm but you can plan accordingly and purchase things before hand. There is a dollar store 11 minutes away for emergencies and restaurants. 6. The restrooms and store were very clean. 7. The beach provides huge umbrellas and nice beach chairs at your convenience. 8. The playground is brand new and fun. Basically, ignore a lot of the past reviews and have fun with your family!!
