We stayed here when we visited White Sands NP and it was very nice. The sites had dividers to provide a little more privacy. They had a great laundry facility and camp store. When we were there they had a group playing music in the gathering area- very nice touch! We stayed across from the dog park which was a little noisy, but otherwise a quiet CG.

Spent the night here and enjoyed visiting White Sands NP and the two pistachio farms and wineries. The campground is easy to access off the main road with excellent interior driveways. The bathhouses were clean and spacious, easily accessible from all campsites. The laundry room, although undergoing renovations, was clean and machines worked perfectly. The camp store is well stocked with fantastic selection of t-shirts and magnets and other national park souvenirs. They’ll even lend you sleds to enjoy the sand dunes!! The staff is courteous and professional and always available. An unfortunate problem with the plumbing was handled with professionalism and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all campers. We’ll definitely stay here again if traveling this way

Passing through Alamogordo and had some trouble with the truck. They went out of their way to help us. The campground itself is nice and reasonable priced. The bathrooms were clean and they have a great laundry facility. They have a good camp store with very good prices. They have a large common room with lots of games. The owners and staff are outstanding! Recommend this campground as a great place to stay and enjoy all this area has to see.

Great KOA for visiting White Sands National Park. This park is not in an unsafe neighborhood but its also not in a resorty neaighborhood either. The location is convenient. The staff was very helpful. Escorted us to our site. Nice bath house and laundry. Nice pool as well but was not open in January. No issues. Our site even had a brand new full size propane grill!

My husband and I stayed here for about a week in our Class C Motorhome with no tow vehicle. There’s a shopping complex with a great Caliche’s, but not much else in walking distance. We rented a car and visited the Pistachio farm, which I highly recommend. The staff were friendly and they have sleds you can rent to take to White Sands (I also highly recommend this). The bathrooms were clean and they have a nice pool for the warmer months. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if in the area.

Nice park we had a level gravel pull through full hookups. All the normal KOA amenities clean bathrooms and laundry didn’t use the pool. Park is in an industrial area but once in the park you would never know it. Easy check in, easy in and out. Friendly staff

What a suprising gem of a KOA Journey campground! We spent four nights here to see the sights and were totally impressed with the high level of care and maintenance this CG displayed throughout. Our premium site was easy to get to, level gravel, easy hookups, and had a nice patio with furniture, a gas grill and a swing! We also appreciated the switchable dark sky lighting in the site. Wifi was really quite good for streaming. Nice amenities as well -- all were clean and very well maintained. While in Alamagordo, we visited White Sands NP, the Space Museum, Pistachio Land, and Cloudcroft -- all are recommended. A special and unexpected find was D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro on the main drag. Served their own branded wine (very good!) and had a great menu of really well-prepared, flavor-filled food.

Another great stay, 1 night, passing through Alamagordo. Sandy and her staff are the best! Efficient, thoughtful, pleasant, making us feel welcome again. We had one of the large, pull-through spaces with a patio, fire pit, table and chairs, close to the store. Clean with great hook-ups. Enjoy your stay.

The RV spot itself was a little tight to pull in to, but they know their stuff and it was a perfect amount of space for the RV with the slide out. They had sleds to borrow to go to the dunes. Sandy was very nice at check in. The pool was very refreshing and clean. The youngest we had with us enjoyed the playground and the rec room was fun with ping pong and games.

Fantastic stop on our 12-day RV trip! The campground was clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Loved having access to the pool and laundry to recharge mid-trip. The staff was friendly and gave great local tips for food and sights. Super convenient for visiting White Sands. Highly recommend this KOA!
