Location is great for fishing, thats it. Camp sites are right off the road, no privacy. And no one cleans up after themselves so the sites are trashed

Pretty good little spot for free. Keep an eye on your gas tank. Someone came in the middle of the night and siphoned a half a tank out of our camper van.

Came in towing 30 ft trailer on Labor Day weekend. The campground is on the water side of the paved road but poorly marked. A wide shoulder along the road permits free camping and parking bordered by a steep cliff. The shoreline is covered with large slippery rocks. The tidal bore is roughly 10 ft. Black bears wandering freely along the road day and night. During the salmon runs expect combat fishing, especially at high tide. Snagging setups are lawful. There are run down vault toilets. Dumpsters are available. Access to shoreline is treacherous and ramps have unrepaired washouts from erosion. Still a memorable experience worth the trip.

We had the best week dry camping with our 5th wheel here. Stunning view. Fishing was great. Black bear and harbor seals are sighted daily. Short drive to town for excursions, food, fuel, and shopping. Bathroom facilities were near, but we never used them. Trash dumpsters near the bathrooms.

Way too expensive for the spot. Consider staying on free spots anywhere else. Most of the people we met there didn't even pay for several days, they saw no one. Not surprised as the trashes were more than full and the toilets were very dirty. Need more (any) maintaince to justify a fee.

This is a great location, right on the bay. It is just down the street from the fish hatchery. Easy access even if your rig is too big I think you can get turned around. We saw fifth wheels at maybe 30 feet. It's 20 dollars, but it has to be a check, kinda inconvenient . We saw eagles, seals ,otter, and a whale went by. We really enjoyed it.
