We have stayed at a lot of rv parks. This is the first time we have ever been charged for electricity for over night stays. 2 days $12. Money Grab. Also the office was closed mid day when we arrived with no info on site reservation. This park is nothing special. We won't be back.

We stayed with our camper van at Almond Tree for 4 nights during the Snow Goose Festival, January 21-25. Online reservations were easy and AAA discount was helpful. Online check-in a couple of days before arrival allowed us to drive directly to our site without having to stop at the office. The park is very clean and all hookups on our Site 33 - water, electric and sewer - were in excellent condition. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Showers did not require tokens and had plenty of hot water. I recommend this RV Park, but just be aware there is separate per-kW-used charge for electricity.

Updated Jan. 2026. We again stayed here over the Christmas holiday to visit family. Our stay was again highly satisfying. We got our selected site and checkin was easy as it is all online now. My only concern with reserving through Campspot is there is no place to receive an Autoclub AAA discount as we always received in the past. I was going to call the office to inquire but never did. I’m sure we will be staying again. We stayed in a 2025 Flagstaff Micro Lite 22FBS. All hookups worked fine. We have been staying at Almond Tree RV Park for many years as we have family in Chico. Our latest stay was highly satisfactory as always. While it’s under new management we are happy to see that there is still friendly staff and we got a primo site this time with lots of shade. (Important in Chico in August.) We hope it continues to provide us a great place to stay in Chico. We have a 22-foot Flagstaff travel trailer.

This RV Park is in a great location. Before it sold, I felt the customer service was much more customer oriented. Now it seems corporate and mainly focusing on all their storage units. They want you to reserve your RV space online and when we did for the Christmas holiday the raised the rates $40 more than we used to pay. From $62 a night to $102. They said because it was a busy part of the season. Then they wanted an extra $20 to guarantee the space you want. We stayed here for a week and the RV Park was not even a third full. I wanted to do laundry, but their machines are old and filthy. They really need to upgrade their machines. I have never seen anyone out doing maintenance or cleaning around the Park.

Beautifully maintained park with powerful Wi-Fi. Our group was unanimous in appreciation of facilities, location and especially Staff members -- first class professionals. Price is grand and Concierge-level service superseded all expectations. WILL RETURN!

Campground was nicer than expected. Green grass and big trees, nice area to walk the dog. Conveniently located to lots of restaurants and services. The laundry area was out of order but the guy at the desk was helpful in recommending a laundromat nearby that was clean and reasonably priced. The sites are on the small side but they were level and honestly not any worse than many other places I’ve stayed. Overall, pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again

This is a nice, quiet park and I really enjoyed staying there. The grounds are well-maintained. I didn't take advantage of the general store, but did notice they had ice available on site. I'll definitely stay there again.

Chico is a destination for our family visits. As warm as it was, the pool was wonderful and well maintained. We needed an extra day to resolve a check-engine light on the truck. Traffic noise was at a minimum, all facilities were great and functional and the park is in close proximity to all things we needed! Great job!

Nice well kept and manicured park, the sites are set up nicely, showers and bathrooms are very clean. It is are go to spot when we come into Chico with our trailer. Office staff is always kind and courteous. Pool is always nice and clean as well. Laundry room is very nice as well. We love that they are pet friendly🐾
