Went to rent a cabin and was totally unhappy. Dead bugs all under the beds, bathroom light didnt work, AC wasn't cooling, shower water came out with dirt and smells like rotten eggs and a non working fire alarm. We didnt even stay in the unit but still keep eighty six dollars and some change. Poor management!

Perfect location for this RV park, close to many restaurants and we rode E-bikes to the beach often. Very nice sites, have a non heated pool and a hot tub. (When it works). Nice bathroom/shower house!! Have activities several nights a week and on special occasions. Overall a really quaint, quiet , lovely RV Park.

We have always loved Ancient Oaks and had a great time . We wish it was like it used to be with someone coming around and picking up the bagged garbage at the RV sites . It was a little inconvenient to take the trash to the dumpster. Also, no one seemed to come around and do any kind of lawn service . The palm tree kept shedding and blowing the shedded leaves every where. We piled them up the best we could but nobody came around to pick them up from the sites . The girls in the office were very good and extremely helpful and we thank them very much. Just our thoughts on how some things could improve .

When we booked our site for the winter only two things I asked about was: Do you have a heated pool? Hot tub? Answer to both was yes. Called about a month before asked again to make sure. Again yes. We arrive and pool is not heated and per receptionist owners are not going to fix. Apparently hasn’t been heated in two years. Hot tub has not been working either. Stayed two months and have moved down the road now. So far as the park it is very nice with great concrete sites. Very reasonable rates if pool and hot tub worked.

New owners. They made a lot of improvements. Pool is warm, clean and beautiful. Hot tub very clean and hot. Very relaxing Dog park clean and no ants. Park itself very clean, well maintained, sprayed for mosquitos. New owners are very pleasant and friendly. Office workers are also so pleasant and helpful. Washers and dryers are always clean. Laundry room spotless. Great RV Park.

This is a quiet place to stay when in Rockport. We stayed 5 nights for a fishing trip with family. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice pull through sites with concrete pads and picnic tables. The y escort you to your site and help guide you while parking if needed. The grounds are very well kept. Bathrooms and showers were clean and loved the privacy when showering. We would definitely stay here again

We used to love this place, but the last two times we were here the hot tub was green and the pool was not working. The dog park is full of ants (yes I know it’s Texas), but not one area was free of ants. Attached are photos of the green hot tub. The person who picks up the trash in the am reeked of alcohol at 9am in the morning. We really hope the new owners will get this place back into shape. Because it was a nice place to stay when it was kept up. We only noticed the decline this year 2021.
