No pull thru sites at all. Staff is very helpful and great at coaching back-in if you need the help. Water pressure was under 30psi at my site. Washroom/shower were immaculate. All the tree cover is at sites on the outer edge; the center "loop" has no cover, so you'll bake in the summer. Lots of events even at the end of the season.

Loved the patio site. The grounds could use some maintenance. Some of decking needs replaced. Liked the store. Got free breakfast on Saturday morning. Great price for a koa.

Not sure but heard it was under new management. Don't know for how long or why. We have stayed at numerous KOA's and this was not nearly as nice as any of the others. Seemed really run down and needed alot of love and care. Not that we would have used it but pool was unavailable. The staff was friendly and courteous but the actual park was a disappointment. Again not sure of what was going on but pictures on-line were not what campgrounds looked like. Hopefully there will updates and cleanup done in the future because I do believe there is alot of potential.

I’ve stayed at many KOAs over the years, but this one was by far the worst experience. The problems started before we even arrived. I called the office multiple times with no answer, and even emailed without receiving a response. When we showed up at 3 p.m. for check-in, the office was locked, the lights were off, and no staff could be found. We called again with no luck. After about 15 minutes, I finally flagged down a worker driving by, who was able to contact someone to check us in. Later that day, we decided to go swimming as a family. When we arrived at the pool around 4:30, it was closed. We were told we couldn’t swim unless a lifeguard was present, and the lifeguard didn’t return until 5. Once we finally got in, the water was discolored, slimy, and had no smell of pool chemicals. The bottom felt dirty, and there was visible mold around the edges. We got out quickly and never went back — honestly, Pymatuning Lake looked cleaner than the pool. On our second night, we discovered the oven in our cabin didn’t work. I called the “after-hours” number, only to reach a man who said he constantly gets misdirected calls and isn’t even associated with KOA. Eventually, someone did come to repair it, and to be fair, he was the one bright spot of our stay — friendly, helpful, and quick to fix the problem. Overall, though, this campground was a major disappointment. Between the lack of communication, poor facilities, and unsanitary conditions, we’ve decided we will never return. There are plenty of other campgrounds in the area worth visiting. Save yourself the frustration and choose a different one — this KOA is nothing like what you’d expect from the brand.

Absolutely loved it here. Pool is kept clean. Bathhouse is well maintained and clean as well. Staff is wonderful here. Tent sites are mostly shaded. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

They don’t answer the phone or emails I tried for two weeks to contact someone left multiple messages and they finally called back when we had already been there 2 days. We came here for 4th of July weekend expecting to be able to swim and our kids to have fun. The pool was closed opened July 4th at noon when they said it’d be open by 10. We asked the day before about the pool and were told they had to wait on the lifeguard to show up. They offered ice cream instead. 🙄 This campground needs some serious help and some retraining on how to treat people. We definitely won’t be back to this koa. Very disappointing as we love all the others we’ve been to.

The cabin was spotless! Beautiful set up and fun things to do with the kids. BUT the pool was closed. We swam at the beach so it still worked out. The staff were wonderful, kind, helpful and SUPER good with my kids. I hope to make this a yearly trip.

If you’ve been to any other KOA, you’ll likely be disappointed by this one. I’m not sure how they keep the name on the sign. Staff of two, sometimes three, running 200 site campground. Sites were swamps (it rained in May, who’d have thought?) with huge ruts, extremely tight site access. Dumpsters overflowing, pool empty, not at all what it appears on the website. The other campers were the silver lining of the trip. Very friendly group. I’m dumbfounded by the positive reviews. I can only assume a large number of the positive reviewers have not been to other KOAs, or reviewed this one before it was in its current state. I did find another review from an individual around the same time last year who had an identical experience excepting that I did not have electrical issues. We ultimately had a nice weekend despite the campground, but wanted to leave this review as a warning to others who may be misguided by the overwhelmingly positive reviews.
