This is a very nice campground right on Lake Moultrie which makes it even better if you have a boat. The breakfast was good at the little restaurant and the staff were friendly and prompt.

Beautiful place to stay. We booked M2 which was right on the water. So calm.amd peaceful. Make sure to shop before, its about 15 miles to grocery and restaurants. They do have breakfast and lunch at the café in the store.

Site F is a nice back-in site along the water. The area around the concrete pad was well manicured, and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice and well kept the grassy areas were around all the sites. Just be careful of fire ants as we found a few mounds here and there as you do in SC. Our fire-pit was located behind the rig, though it was a bit off center and just a bit too close to the neighboring Site G. Thankfully, our neighbors were considerate and let us enjoy our fire ring without crowding us out. We loved the grassy area behind the site where our dog could relax and watch us fish right from the back of our campsite. Site E is an oddly placed permanent camper directly behind Site D so be cautious when booking that site you will not have the view of the water you'll have the view of the back of this old camper. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely beautiful, and we had perfect weather throughout our stay. Down by the marina, there were plenty of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to sit and read a book or watch the boats come and go. The permanent sites in the center of the campground were well maintained and the campground itself was a good size for walks with the dog. The bathrooms could use a bit of an update and some attention, but since we use our RV it wasn't an issue for us. The office has a good sized boat and RV supply store stocked with fishing gear and other essentials and they serve breakfast and lunch too! We're so glad to have found this campground so close to home - definitely a place we'll be coming back to! Tip for Other Campers: Both RVLife and Google Map directions brought us in on Viper Road which ends at train tracks with a big sign that says Road Closed!! Watch your map closely — you’ll need to veer left where Viper Road splits into a second Viper Road. This will take you over an overpass that crosses the train tracks, and then it continues on to the campground. If you miss it and reach the train tracks, there’s enough space to back up and turn around — we were able to do that once we realized the issue with the directions.

Steak and gravy special, with sweet potato fries, green beans, and a muffin. The food was excellent. Small community and home-cooked meals. All in one spot, good, groceries, shopping, fishing, and clothes.

Only thing that could have been better was the weather. We still had a great time. The folks were great, the campground was clean and the food excellent in the restaurant. A keeper for sure!

Good is just eh!. Ordered the all meat omelet with grits and biscuit. My wife goes hers. Waitress never checked on us after bringing the food. When she brought my bill, I asked what happened to my grits and biscuit as they never came with my food. She seemed "put out" that I had Asked for what I ordered and tried to blame me because I didn't ask for it before the check. I explained she never came to check on us. Looked at the bill, the grits and biscuit were on the bill. That means the kitchen and the server both missed it. Back of house made alot of drama when I asked to be credited for what I didn't recieve.

Stayed a month here so we could get a refrigerator repaired. Nice and clean with plenty of space, clean bathrooms and showers. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Austin, Brian and Don did great work on our RV . The restaurant has a nice view of the lake and service is fast and efficient. The catfish nuggets are the bomb. We will be back.

I have stored my Motor Home there and have eaten in the restaurant many times. First Class operation and great service with diner food. Plenty of space for storage and very secure. Great facilities if you decide to camp there or launch your boat into the lake. A beautiful location too. Friendly staff. Always a warm welcome and willingness to help.
