Anglers will appreciate the easy access to Willow Creek, which is known for its excellent trout fishing. The surrounding forest is crisscrossed with trails suitable for hiking and wildlife viewing, where moose, elk, and mule deer are frequently spotted. Who This Park Is Best For

We hiked on a weekday in late fall and the trail was not busy. Guessing that it's a different situation on weekends.

Am amazing place to vamp, pretty quite other than a shooting range near by. Super close to denver also so it is worth the drive and camping time. Amazing river and a ton of edible plants. Bear boxes are required to camp. Also, free.
