I rented a storage at arborstone, my stuff wasn't even there a week when it rained and runt a bunch of my stuff and then 2 and a half months later my storage was broken into they didn't do a thing about either incident! Not happy with this place!

Went to our unit on 12-11-21 no problems, returned 12-18-21 to discover that we'd been robbed. Called the answering service and reported it to the police. Told arborstone to cancel our contract. 1-1-22 they took January's rent from my account and said I had to send pictures of the unit cleaned out, so we returned again to find that a padlock had been placed on our unit, the unit next to us was open and in it was a couple suit cases of my wifes, called the police again and made another report. The officer informed me that the unit next to ours had been broken into a few days before and that somehow arborstone doesn't have the security footage. Had to wait until the 3rd of January to finally get ahold of someone to get told they didn't put a lock on it and to cut it off. Cut it and found our unit was full of someone else's stolen stuff. Will the 'maintenance guy showed up and between his story and the woman in the office it sounds like they are or they know who is breaking into these units.15 years of work gone, gun stolen, even took an urn with my wife's best friends ashes. I even videoed our situation it's on YouTube. Horrible business they run and hopefully they end up getting caught.

Great place!! Management is VERY quick to respond with great customer service. I would highly recommend this storage facility!

Horrible place! I recently had my unit broken into this past week and Brittany I assume the manager over this facility stated that during the time frame of the burglary her Surveillance Cameras wasnt working, also she stated that her maintenance person was supposed to perform weekly checks over the grounds to keep good security. Brittany had told me due to Thanksgiving it has been 2 weeks since the last check. Thanksgiving was November 22, 2018 and I was informed of my unit being broken into this past week. That is more than 2 weeks! Brittany also didn't provide me with a copy of a contract or agreement when I moved into my unit. The whole thing sounds like an inside job where one of her employees had broken into my unit. My unit wasn't the only unit broken into either there was a few others who had their units broken into as well. My unit was stacked full and the items that was stolen was scattered throughout my unit, so this wasn't a typical cut the lock grab what you can and hurry out in less than five minutes. The responsible party or parties had to have spent at least 30 minutes or more going through my unit. Brittany had stated that she has her maintenance person live on site to ensure security, what does this prove negligence! I have submitted a supplemental report to my original police report stating my concern over my burglary being an inside job. I have moved all my items out into a different and SECURE facility not apart of their company and WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ELITE STORAGE AGAIN! As they own Spartan Storage. I am strongly considering a legal lawsuit regarding this matter!
