I have been living at Arrowhead Point Camping Resort for the last 3 years as a long-term tenant. it was and still remains, my favorite campground in buena vista. I want to give big props to ownership and management for the extensive improvements they've made throughout the park. I thoroughly enjoy living here. I highly recommend this campground to anyone who's looking for beautiful scenery, nice staff and full amenities. It has been my experience, that those who have issues at arrowhead are self-inflicted. I'm familiar with all of the RV/campgrounds as i am a local to the area and this one remains my favorite.

Group camping area is on top of a very steep hill with a gravel/rutted road that you need 4 wheel drive to get up. The only amenities in the group camping area are some port a potties. No water. No gazebo or other permanent shelter up on the hill. Showers are far away down the steep hill. There is not a separate walking path down the hill. Just the loose gravel road. The flattest areas are designated as parking so the areas to set up tents are sloped. The noise from the traffic on the highway is constant all night long. If you’re into “rustic” camping save your $ and go find a dispersed camping spot.

I had booked a couple cabins for my brother and I in August. We could not be happier with our experience. The cabins were very clean, very welcoming. We had two very large rigs that needed to be parked in close proximity to the cabins, which is passenger parking only. The staff on site let us park next to the cabin (on property) for an extra small fee for both rigs. Three days, two nights very well worth it! We will definitely be coming back to Arrow Head again for our off road adventures!

Absolutely loved my stay here. The views in every direction are nothing short of stunning. Mountains, big skies, and peaceful surroundings. The campground itself is quiet and well-kept, but what really stood out was the people. Everyone I met, from the staff to fellow campers, was kind, welcoming, and easy to talk to. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Great base camp for exploring Buena Vista, hiking, or just relaxing in nature.

So many nice things about this campground! We had a large family reunion there. The staff could not have been nicer. The Deluxe cabins we stayed in were just perfect for a low key camping experience. Clean and comfortable. The meeting area was perfect for our crowd! Easy access to recreation and town. We will definitely go back!

Definitely the worst RV park we’ve stayed at. There’s a large loose dog that runs around so be careful if you have kids or other animals. The office is not open. The bathrooms are broken. You won’t be able to reach any sort of management if you have an issue. Showers are coin operated. We got stuck in the dog park with a baby and our dogs because of the large dog running around the property. I tried to call management to help us or secure the animal (which probably belongs to one of the ten trailers where people live here) but they didn’t answer after opening hours nor did they open the office. I would consider this park a safety issue if you have family or animals. Most of the people that work here, live here, and don’t have teeth. So you do the math.

Exactly what I imagined. A small intimate secluded rustic cabin. I loved it was equipped with what we needed; electricity, small fridge and heater. The fire pit in right in front of cabin with seating plus has built grill if needed although we always bring our own. There is public bathrooms if needed and little store. We came prepared so we didn’t even leave for the cabin during our visit. Plus the owner Jermery was kind and very helpful and his friendly dog.

Well, first let me say, they are trying. updating tons of stuff so give it a few months. However, we were met by no one, office closed, no signage to tell you where office was. had to ask another camper. gentleman came out to us from working on electric lines and told us where to find our stuff on the outside of office. ok. during the night water kicked off, no one had water and just like when we first arrived, no one answered phone to get any help. it just was NOT a good experience for us. But they are trying to make it a better place so if you read this and it's months from now, maybe it will be better.

We rented the rustic cabin and our family had a yurt. Both were clean and had sleeping for 4 people. The rustic cabin is tucked away at the top of a steep hill - it was very nice to feel away from the main campground and out in nature. The electrical, fridge, and fans in both the cabin and yurts were a very nice touch. The mattresses were a little thin and you can feel the wood frame below - but its still better than the ground! I believe the resort is under newer ownership and they are working on updates. The staff was very friendly, but the general store was never open... maybe it wasn't a busy enough weekend. FYI they do have showers, but you pay quarters for your time. They do have change machine for $1 and $5 bills.

Excellent little campground. Clean and tidy. Spots are a little small (with a 32-foot fifth wheel) but well adequate. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The wifi was strong and sufficient for phone calls and videos. The water was clean and tasted great. The dump wells were well flowing, and we had no issues with them. We did not use the metered showers, but they looked well maintained and clean.
