We just got home from our 8 day stay at Arrowhead campground and I can’t say enough good thing about this campground. First the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The campground is very clean and well maintained there are lots of things to do. There is a nice little nature trail in the park and you easy access to a green belt that runs along the river. The view of the river was beautiful and the wildlife was fun to watch. We will be making this our go to when going to Cascade. A big thanks to all the staff you guys rock.

Passing thru on a roadtrip and needed a tent site. Stopped in and they were able to help me out. It is a great location. Very friendly. Clean bathrooms. Tent sites are very nice. Would highly recommend staying there. Jerry C

Right on the Payette river and only 1.5 miles from Lake Cascade. The staff are all very nice and helpful. They take very good care of the grounds. The Bungalows are very nice. Only thing that could of made the trip better is if the gnats and mosquitos were gone..haha but thats what you get when you are near water. Had a great time floating down the river from Kelly's water park up the road.

Booked a last minute trip to get out of town for Mother’s Day. First time at Arrowhead RV park. We stayed in one of the little cabins. It was perfect for what we needed. However the little space heater kept tripping the circuit, so we opted to stop using it out of safety reasons. The baseboard heater also didn’t work. Other than that, the cabin was cute and clean! Beds were cozy. Right on the river with pretty views and tons of birds. Rec room with games, pickleball, basketball hoop, and a nice little park for the kids to play in. The only thing that was kind of a bummer is none of the sites had individual fire rings. Overall tho the stay was great. RV park is quiet.

My wife and I travel every year for our anniversary. Usually we try to go to places we haven't been to before. We were pleasantly surprised at this location. Things that are important to us are often pretty common amongst most travelers. But we have some additional desires in a camp ground that make the difference Between awarding 4 or 5 stars on a review. Seclusion is one of those items, and this place has it. We were right on the river, which was AMAZING... plenty of mature trees, canopy cover, and we had a very large lot. Please know that the river sites are obviously back in, and definitely not for the "reverse challenged"... All utilities worked as they should. The grounds are clean and well maintained, with plenty of space for walking along with a park. One of the things that stand out the most about this place was the overall nature-oriented feel. We mostly enjoy state parks for the feel and seclusion... but honestly, arrowhead cannot be beat. Prices were reasonable and staff were friendly. My only regret was that we only stayed one night. We will definitely be returning in following years.

We absolutely loved this place. The staff is super kind and helpful. They are filled with local knowledge, so if you need help finding things to do, they got you covered. The spaces were wide with big trees for shade. There is nature surrounding you and of course being right on the river is absolutely stunning. We saw a bald eagle, fish jumping and even a crawfish when down by the river.

We’ve stayed here twice in the last 4 weeks, once in a tent site and once in a yurt. Loved our experience both times! The RV grounds are clean and the park is quiet. We enjoyed the facilities - especially the shower rooms. Very clean, private shower stalls and in great condition! There are lots of things for kids to do. And the employees are really nice! Last time we stayed we were late getting there on a Friday afternoon and were staying in the yurts. The gal at the desk (I’m sorry, I don’t remember her name) called to check that we were still coming and even stayed a few minutes after they closed so that we could get checked in and get our keys. Very much appreciated! I recommend this place.

Well, I'll start with the positive. The teenage boy who checked us in was very pleasant, as was the guy in the golf cart that led us to our site. Now everything else.... The sites are extremely narrow. We could not sit outside at our site because there was no room (see pics). Our chairs would've been about 2 feet from our neighbors poop tube/sewer. GROSS, no, thank you. 🤮 All of the sites are powdery dirt, very little grass to enjoy unless you walk over to the river. The playground is smack dab in the middle of the park, and the kids were screaming late on Friday night and early Saturday morning. OH, PARENTS: If you do bring kids, the playground is about 6" of powdered dirt, so kids will get absolutely filthy. There are signs posted literally everywhere that they will charge you $50 for absolutely everything. If you plug a toilet in the bathroom, CHARGE. if your dog gets off leash, CHARGE. If you don't pick up your dogs poop, CHARGE. I get that these are rules that need to be enforced. But you can have rules without threatening to charge for every little thing. People can obey rules without fear that they're going to find an extra $50 fee on your bill with no explanation. It's obvious that there are many, many people living here full time, since their sites were absolutely packed with crap. Between that and the trailer park right there, it's very much ghetto vibes. The location and proximity to Cascade is fine, but dont stay here if you want to enjoy the river. It's moving way too fast for paddle boarding or swimming. We were excited to try this place, but we will not be back. They need to be more welcoming and make it more roomy.

Open year round. RV dump, potable water, and propane fill all in one stop. Great service. A shout out for Landon from the Newkirks. New management, many improvements planned. Thank you! Looking forward to a return visit.
