Very nice county Park. We camped here for one night while we were traveling from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Clean, well kept restrooms and shower facilities too. There is fuel and restaurants nearby for your convenience. The park is near a rather busy road, but the traffic noise was minimal after the evening workday rush. All in all, a very nice park & campground.

A very relaxing place to watch the lake and or fish.

Babcock has great employees that are very helpful. The Host, Karen is super friendly and helpful. She is always around but gives you your space. The only downfall is it's right next to Highway 51 so you hear traffic all day and night. On the plus side you are on the outskirts of town so if you need something you can walk and get it. I love this park! There is a playground and the restrooms are close to the campground with restrooms and showers and changing room. Everyone brought there dogs and one couple had their cat. On the other side of the restroom is a part of the lake where you can go fishing and boating. They have their resident geese about 6 that are there daily.

This is a community boat landing and great fishing place. They even have a handicapped area for wheelchairs to fish. Area is good to walk through because of its beauty!

A very clean campground. The restrooms and showers were super clean! Kind of on the lake within walking distance from a very nice boat ramp. The campground is next to a fairly busy highway but after a short time you don't even notice the noise. The host was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend.

My 2.5 year old had a BLAST here today! Enjoyed the water and the playground. Had a picnic lunch and enjoyed the ducks!

On-line Reservation System needs some work. Couldn't get past the registration screen because of Birthdate Information problem. Not sure why they need that anyway. Did get a call the next day from a very nice young lady, Amy, who got my reservation and charges done. A bit pricey, $38 for overnight, with just electric. Does include use of dump station though. Showers and Restrooms were clean. Electric hookups are not convenient. They service two spots and are an extended distance from the pad for standard 30 and 50 Amp cables. Highway noise pretty much all night too. Well shaded. Level, gravel, pads. Probably wouldn't stay here again though.

Not the out in the woods feel. Here’s a county park that has been developed around over time but still a very nice clean RV park. The gravel pads are level (although somewhat short) with 30 amp service. What this park does is provide a great way to access the Madison chain of lakes. A boat launch is within walking distance and the RV park provides dock space to a limited number of sites (no electricity available at dock). A supper club, diner, Culver’s, and gas station that sells live bait (including large suckers) are just across the street but the sound of traffic never stops.
