The campsites were in terrible condition, they didn’t prepare the campsite at all, the grass was extremely tall, I paid for electricity and it was broken and I didn’t get a refund/discount for it, the bathrooms were nasty and smelled terrible all weekend, I got harassed for speeding the whole weekend even though I had a speedometer showing I was going less than the speed limit (which is posted as 10, but in the rules it says 5) which makes it feel like they’re looking to get people in trouble because why would there be 2 different speed limits, I couldn’t use my firepit because it was extremely unkept, it was super loud all the time because it was so close to the freeway, it felt like I was paying way more for the site than what I actually got, very disappointed

This campground is such a gem. It’s right off the highway, so super easy to get to, but once you’re in, it feels open and relaxed—you’re not packed in on top of each other like some places. We loved it here so much that we actually bought a seasonal site. The owners are incredibly kind and understanding, and the office staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked with décor, games, merch, and little extras. They even have a fun mining station where you buy a bucket and sift through it at their waterfall setup—our kids had a blast with that. There are swing sets in different parts of the campground, a clean shower/bathroom area with a washer and dryer, and the sites are easy to read and pick from on their detailed map. Whether you need a simple spot or a full hookup with sewer, they’ve got it covered. Honestly, it’s been such a great experience—we’re so glad we found this place.

Overall OK. Great people, quiet, trees. First day of season so things were still a bit disorganized. Bathrooms bit old and cold. Internet was barely functional.

Owner Tim and Traci(?)are great, very accommodating! They helped me change my reservation from the camper Wolf Pup rental (yes, they can rent out a camper!) To our own spot after we decided to purchase our own. They recommended a good spot based on our preferences too. Had an issue finding water when we got in after hours but Tim helped me out through texts and we got squared away. Also had an issue with the washing machine once during the stay and They took care of the issue right away as well. Family enjoyed the many kid friendly amenities (though the main playground had seen better days and had a loose railing..see photo on the right side...careful!) - soccer, bouncy balls, bowling pins inside the laundry area, many playgrounds, swings. Who cares if there isn't a pool...lots to do for fun! State park camping couldn't possibly own up the amenities here, book here if you're thinking of visiting the local State Park!

Perfect campground with all the amenities. It's my go to for R&R with friends family or a relaxing weekend with my significant other. The onsite shower/restroom facilities are so convenient. I wanted to stay an extra day and get up earlier for work. The laundry room/clubhouse set up made it possible. Highly recommend for the quiet camping environment!

Cute campground for quiet simple stay. Bathrooms are old but the pavilion has two nice family bathrooms with showers. There are two playgrounds, a dog play area, balls to play on volley field and basketball court. Also had a little old school arcade with picnic area and washer and dryers. Was not busy. Staff was helpful and kind when I wanted to move lots for a little more privacy. Cute little store with basic needs and trinkets. Super close to banning State Park and a gas station. Not the most in the woods feeling but not the perfect cut grass and gravel RV campground either. Nice in between. Great star gazing ✨

Pros: -General store -Two dump stations -Multiple indoor bathroom & shower locations (pavilion family bathroom/ shower are nice and remodeled. Other bathroom/showers get the job done) -Multiple playgrounds -Basketball & volleyball courts -Dog gated park with equipment -Pretty quiet and people respected quiet hours -Close to 35 and Banning State Park -Each campsite had a table & firestone ring -Spot 902 had lots of mature trees allowing for extra shade -Staff were super nice -Ran into multiple cleaning people in the bathrooms throughout the long weekend which was awesome. Felt they were cleaned well. Note, it was raining hence the mud on the floor in the bathrooms. Cons: -Camping spots are close in proximity to each other but pretty standard for weekend spots. We really enjoyed our time and recommend it.

Nice clean campground and friendly staff. It was quite quiet. Cute little store. We stayed there so we could go wheelin' and would definitely go back.
