I appreciated their timely responses when I reached out via email to ask some questions about potentially staying at this campground later this year. However, we were extremely disappointed to be denied the opportunity to book a site here solely based on the breed of our dog. In our opinion, that is an incredibly rude and unfair policy.

I made a reservation and they assured me I could reschedule for a different day if needed. When I tried to reschedule they wanted to charge me, this is bad business practice to not keep your word. They were friendly when I made the reservation and then when they had the money they changed. Such a shame.

I am a year round resident of Barefoot Landing. My son and I adore our community. The office staff are amazing, the maintenance staff are always quick to respond. Management does a great job at preserving and maintaining the natural elements. Short and long-term guests are carefully vetted to be sure our community stays safe. Our stay from our cabin, the playgrounds, pool, pavilion & lake access all are top tier. Highly recommended!

Me, my husband, my best friend and her husband found this place last weekend when our friends bought a used camper. We stopped off in this campground for the weekend to test out the camper and take in the scenery. What a GREAT TIME!!! The campground was very nice. the staff were the nicest people that we ever could have asked for. One of the staff members named John brought us wood for our campfire and hung out with us. He treated us like we were family. We really enjoyed our super short trip and haven't stopped talking about it since!

This place is like a little piece of heaven, it is absolutely beautiful! When I got my camper I did a lot of research to find the best campsite around and this is for sure it. The grounds are well kept and beautiful, the residents here are friendly, welcoming and take pride in their sites. The owners and staff are friendly, professional, caring and treat you like family. Time flies when I am here and I am always sad to leave and go back to reality. The lake is beautiful and the sites are well maintained and lovely. My pup loves it here too! I am so glad I found this place to be my little escape. The girls in the office are great too and super easy to talk to, as are the owners. Come visit and you too won’t want to leave...especially after a s’mores!!

It's taken me a long time to post a comment on here. I had to get over the trauma that I endue while working for the owner at this campground, I worked in the office, worked hard for the owner, but he also ownes several trailer parks around his home town area and he brings his trailer park crew with him and some of them live in the campground. These people love to drink, party, cause trouble, and they are allowed to break the rules ,and if you aren't part of their little crew they work against you and cause you trouble! They will gang up on you, threatening you, even come on your campsite and try to fight you. Please do your research before coming to this campground. The positive feedbacks on this page is mostly from when the old owner had the campground or from some of his trailer park crew! Well the owner reponed to my review, my review was not an exaggeration it was the truth! I was not trying to cause harm to anyone. Just letting people know. The owner is basically a good guy. But the people that did me wrong is still in the campground. Figure that out. If he thinks I was done so wrong why are they still there?
