The surrounding landscape is dominated by snow-capped peaks and massive glaciers, giving visitors a true sense of the Alaskan wilderness. Travelers will appreciate the level gravel pads and the availability of cable TV and functional Wi-Fi. Practical amenities include modern laundry facilities, clean restrooms, and hot showers. A standout feature for many is the on-site RV and car wash, which is an essential service for cleaning off the road grime accumulated while traveling through the interior of Alaska.

Valdez RV Park provided what we consider, one of the best experience of our lives. My husband had the privilege of working at this RV park for the summer. We are now honored to consider this wonderful family part of our own. Being full time RVers, we've seen some "interesting" parks. This one, while not even being biased, is by far the best, cleanest, and friendliest. We will 100% be making the long drive back someday!

This RV park is amazing !the best private RV park I’ve found in Alaska. Well-maintained, clean, great view. It has free showers(Towels provided),restrooms, and laundry (3$) facilities. They also provide water, sewage, and electricity. It's very convenient and highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay! The shower facilities were sparkling clean, and the water was hot every time. They even provide fresh shower mats for each guest, which was such a thoughtful touch. The entire RV area was well-maintained with clean gravel, which kept us from walking through muddy water during our stay. The whole park was quiet, tidy, and relaxing. Plus, it’s in a great location — close enough to walk to local restaurants, and there’s even a coffee shack right across the street. Highly recommend!

We have been traveling in Alaska for 6 weeks and this was the best RV park we stayed at. Nice location with a three minute walk to town or the boat harbor. Beautiful views. Wonderful large clean shower rooms with vanity and toilet and a new clean bath mat for every shower! The laundry room had plenty of washers and dryers and there was a large covered gathering area with tables if you wanted to be out of your camper but it was raining.

John & Kate, the owners, are fantastic!. Park right next to town, showers super clean (with great hot water) and all washes & dryers were working. Us long-term road trippers appreciate that! Spots ample size for an urban camp ground. Definitely recommend this park! If I return to “the last frontier,” I will definitely stay here again with John & Kate.

From the moment we arrived, the office was hospitable and gave a full tour. They truly made us feel right at home. Showers and laundry area were clean. Showers were hot. The place was quiet and enjoyable. I loved the new “out houses” they built that look like an outhouse but have running toilets. 10/10 would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Valdez RV park! This is an awesome location with great views and a short walk into town. John and family were great host and we appreciated their hospitality. They have nice hot showers and a good sized laundry facility. We loved how close everything is to the campground! Highly recommend staying here!

This RV park was one of the cleanest, best-maintained RV parks we've ever stayed at. They even provided clean bath mats for the showers (which are included in your stay, not those coin operated things). Showers were clean and spacious, each in its own full bathroom with plenty of hooks. Laundry room was clean, as were the washers and dryers. Laundry prices were reasonable and all machines were in working order. Owners were friendly and helpful. It's a parking lot style RV park but all the RV parks in Valdez are like that. We loved being within walking distance of everything in Valdez. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone. As far as Valdez itself, it's a side trip not to miss on your Alaskan journey. Breathtaking scenery, wildlife, and the museums and fish hatchery were great.

Great RV Park. Easy entrance/exit. Easy parking. Plenty turn room. Laundry room. Hot showers. Walk to everything in town. Safeway, marina, super restaurants. Nice shopping. 2 bonuses...super customer service from the family that manages this park. 2nd bonus...we were facing the duck flats and were mesmerized by watching bald eagle parents teach hunting skills to their "teens". Thank you Valdez RV park for an A-plus stay.

Great place to stay! The owners are so nice and personable and they keep everything super clean! We very rarely get a dog sitter, but we went on the Lu-Lu Belle (which I also recommend!), which is all day, so we hired the owner’s daughter to walk our dogs. Not only did she walk them the 2 times we agreed upon, but they saw that our boat was running late getting back and walked them an extra 2 times thankfully. She also wrote up exact schedules for each dog on how long she walked them and if they went to the bathroom or not. She definitely went the extra mile and if you are looking for an RV park and a pet sitter, look no further! The park also has a laundry room and showers and the RV sites are gravel. The location is perfect ~ we walked downtown everyday right from the park.
