What a DUMP! Ugly and crowded, no privacy. The guy who runs it is a joke.

No idea what these people are talking about. Possibly filled with crackheads and squatters. Place is filthy and disgusting, very little space, some people have been there for months, if not years. Very old and nasty RV's just sitting there, not even sure if anyone lives in them.

Awesome place to camp do it every year. Great for trout fishing since the river is right next to your site. Ken the owner is a fair guy. Make sure you check in at the office . Always abide by the rules and you'll be good . Drive below the speed limit and stay off the grass

Bear Creek Campground is close to great hiking trails and has a beautiful creek running in the back with good rainbow trout fishing available. This was the only campground with availability left on Memorial Day weekend when we were reserving for a tent location. We were assigned a location right next to the creek. We hiked buttermilk falls blue trail to Crater Lake and fished the creek. Overall we enjoyed the campsite and the area.

Quiet, idyllic, and rustic. I rode my scooter from Pennsylvania and had only a one person backpacking tent. The proprietor and his family seemed like decent folk, I didn't hear any foul language out of them at all which is something I don't see much these days. It was refreshing. He gave me the best price of any campground around and a nice quiet spot by the creek. This was a rustic camping spot with no electric or running water at the site, which was fine. I wish I could post a picture, but if you google Scootinfool you can find my blog where I have posted pics.
