This KOA and the Marine are owed by the people and our stay was amazing. Joy was so pleasant and kind to help us get all settled in and ran us thru all the amenities between the 2 locations it made all the difference in the world for our stay. We will definitely be back next year!!

We stayed in one of the tent areas. There is ZERO shade. Some of the Rv places have abundant shade. The pool is usable but in another location (a couple of blocks away). The showers are fabulous, the bathrooms are great, and the location can't be beat. Easy walk to shakes, food, and convenience stores.

Great place to stay. It was off the main strip just enough to get decent sleep, but you also have all the perks of the other KOA that has a pool, etc. Clean facility. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We will stay here again.

Just stayed here for 4 days and it was good lots of shade. The workers who work for KOA who are up near the playground really should clean up there areas it's pretty messy and looks trashy for others who stay there and have to see all junk outside there trailers. Bathrooms are ok shower heads need to be replaced or cleaned due to hard water buildup. Actual RV spots have very big rocks that make it hard to level your trailer. Water spigots leak and create mud and bees. Over all an OK place to stay.

We will never return to this camp ground, no one on site if there’s problems then when we did get the manager to come talk to us after they changed the code to get in to the restrooms without telling anybody what the new code was, manager Doug was absolutely rude and pissed off that he had to come talk to us. So be aware there’s no help there when needed and for the price they charge that is unacceptable. Book somewhere else!

Pulled into Garden City for a much needed lay-over. We first tried the Marina Side KOA, which looked very fun for a family with kids. Lot's of action there... but my wife and I had a little quiet, restful place in mind, so we moved on over to Trail Side. Very quiet. The property was very neat and tidy. While quiet, it still had many activities for kids and family (playground, games, horseshoes, etc.) Facilities appear to be fairly new.

Great place to get away with the kids!
