Great Campground, conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed watching the cute little squirrels and Deers in the field across the way. Sites had picnic tables and fire pits. Camp store has essential items for purchase. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Beaver lake campground. The RV spaces were sized nicely. They had a nice camp store with parts and pieces you might need. The staff was exceptional and really helped us out when we needed to make some last minute changes to our time in Custer. Friendly, helpful, fun staff. Great location to anything you want to see in the region. We recommend it.

We did the vilksmarch this year and decided to rent a cabin instead of pull up the rv and I loved cabin 7 easily slept 2 adults and 4 kids. It was also nice to be at the end where my kids could play and not bother anyone else . I hope to come back and stay again. My kids enjoyed the playground area also. Did not get to enjoy the pool as it was after labor day.

This is a nice Campground. Full hook-ups with level sites, trees for shade. Full laundry and showers. Staff were helpful and friendly. Just outside of Custer and about 15min from the park. Definitely, recommend for a stay.

A beautiful campground. Perfect for our week stay. Clean spacious sites without being on top of your neighbors. Very clean bathrooms and grounds. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed my talks with Jen, Ami & Heather about the upgrades they will be doing. Beaver Lake reminded me of my childhood rustic campground but with modern amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

The camp ground is older, but that is what we like! Mature trees for shade & privacy. The sites are big enough. The grounds and all facilities are well kept. But most of all the owners, management and staff were absolutely amazing! One family in our group had major truck problems, they were very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this campground and if in the area again we will definitely stay there.

Being from Wyoming and doing a lot of dispersed camping, my husband and I don't love private campgrounds. We normally like feeling closer to nature and not being around too many people - which is often the opposite of a campground. However, for this trip, we needed to be able to have full hook-ups so we decided to stay here. Fortunately, it was the end of season so the campground was not full. We had a nice stay. The campground is clean, quiet, well maintained, and the owners are very accommodating and hospitable. I could see this being an excellent campground for families, as they have a pool, a slide and a playground. We hope someday to bring our grandkids here.

I cannot say enough good things about Beaver Lake Campground in Custer, SD! Easy reservation system, nice large gravel drives throughout. Cheapest Propane in the area. Wonderful talkative and friendly staff. Good selection of parts and supplies in their store. Nice laundry, clean and we'll lit bathrooms. Dishes cleaning station. Close to town and Custer State park and the Needles Highway, but not all the traffic. And the folks that stay here are some of the nicest you will meet!! When in the area this is my go to now!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Everything about this place was great only reason I gave 4stars is the wood was way over priced! $8.75 is lil outrageous but it's a 4.5 star place just lower wood price! I decided to come back and rate this a 5stars cause yes wood was high price but the showers were the best I've ever showered in camping when it comes to a hot shower plus everything was clean and staff were kind and helpful. Also my daughter loved playing at the park and had a blast at karaoke on Saturday! Just a good place and it deserves 5stars!!!
