Unfortunately I have to leave an overall 1 star review due to my experience. I paid $250 a night for one of the cabins during the heat of July when the AC and hot water were not working. I informed guest services multiple times during my stay and at no point did anyone even attempt to fix these issues. Worst of all I was told management already knew about the issues in this particular cabin for a couple weeks before we arrived. I had booked this months in advance for my cousin's wedding so they knew well before then we were staying but no one bothered to change the cabin we were in or even make any sort of change to accommodation this issue. I was never informed about the issues ahead of time either. I've made many attempts to even have a conversation with management but no one has responded. Multiple calls to guest services who said they would let the manager know I called, multiple voice mails left on the manager's direct line, and multiple emails left unanswered. Overall the cabin was actually very nice despite the problems but with the horrible customer service I would steer clear of this place.

Camped at the Campground for 4 days. This place I'm sure was really nice in its prime but now it needs a lot of maintenance and has been neglected. The dog run is very run down with weeds and broken fencing posts. The well water is very bad and full of rust and smells. ( Ruined my water heater even with a filter) There are uncapped sewer lines for full hookups in the campground right next to your camper and the smell is horrible. No WiFi as advertised. No one manning the office to check in or purchase firewood. Mold growing in the corner of the showers. Below is pictures of the dog run.

Darwin and staff were awesome. Very accommodating for our time in Gaylord. Safe, quiet, peaceful campground. Great cabins are available also if you don't have a RV. Look forward to returning after winter.

Everything is super nice. There people are very friendly young lady working up front in the office with super friendly, but the water was horrible. It made all of our toilets and sinks turn rusty yellow, even with filters.

Not horrible. Note that just about all the sites around the pond aren't level. Not horribly unlevel, but not level. The water is horrible. Lots of iron in the water. It smelled bad and made our shower walls yellow. The water slide was not open and the office was closed in the middle of the day. However, you can still access the indoor pool through the locker rooms. To charge $55 weekday, then $65 on Thursday then $100 on the weekend is ridiculous when the park is empty and the water slide isn't open.

The cabin we rented was really cool! The indoor pool and hot tub were nice. The playground and mini golf were really run down. They didn't advertise the game room as open after memorial day. the staff on site have been unaware of what's going on with the waterslide. I'd say the trip was kind of a flop. It was nice that it wasn't super busy because it's their slow season but It's not worth it to come before summer.

Beautiful campground in a perfect spot. The sites are nice and well-maintained. Lots of full hook-ups. It has a great hot tub, sauna and pool. There’s a mini golf course, water slide, pickleball courts, dog park, and lots of nice facilities. It feels very safe and secure. It’s right in Gaylord and it’s a reasonable driving distance from Petoskey, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Hartwick Pines, Mackinaw, etc. 100% recommend!

First time camping here. Nice paved site, only used pool area, shower area was well kept but shower control panel needs to be repaired. Past labor day so water slide was closed . Enjoyed our time there, will be back.

The resort overall was great . The campsites are roomy and the bathrooms are clean and showers were hot . My only complaint is that the hot tub was closed and the pool was not heated . The one thing I was looking forward to was a nice time in the hot tub to relax some of my muscles

9/17/24 The office and camp store were closed. The indoor pool looked wonderful. The campsites were very small and way to close together. Didn't see inside any of the cabins but, the out was beautiful. Needless to say, I will not be pulling my camper there. My awning would almost hang into the site next to me. I may however, rent a cabin. Depending on cost. The water slide didn't appear to be open but, it did look like fun. Sorry I couldn't give a better review.
