This campground looks great on the website but it is aging and has decrepit infrastructure and facilities. We had stayed there a few years back when the new owners bought it and were supposedly fixing it up and making improvements. During that stay the water was shut off for half a day due to a leak. This past summer we decided to give it another try and stayed here twice over the summer on a cross country trip. Honestly didn't notice anything different in the way of improvements (see pictures). Upon arrival the first time there was no electricity at the post of the site we were assigned. Since it was after 5pm there was no staff on-site so we called the office and left a message. Also FB messaged and a staff member on call responded and had us move to another site. Mild inconvenience but an inconvenience nonetheless. Before returning the second time I called in advance and told the staff member we wanted to avoid any issues with our designated site. They said there were no issues with electricity at the site and assured me we wouldn't have a problem. Ha! Electricity worked upon arrival but at some point overnight it stopped. Woke up with no electricity and walked around trying to find someone and finally found a staff member tending to the decrepit pool who was able to turn it back on. Needless to say we won't book another stay here at this aging campground with poor customer service.

Ya still advertising with the old pictures. Remember you said that would be Corrected some time ago. What happened. It only takes a mouse click. I don't have to stay there to visit my friend Charlotte or do.i ?? Staffing problems I guess.. Just checking... Will the water be on this winter or frozen again??? Just following up on what you've been telling folks when you respond to people's reviews. Or do we get more BS like always .

I got to do an event for sleepy hollow and it was An amazing Halloween event! So many kids turned out, fun hay rides and treats for the littles! We seen campfires for kids and there was a play ground the kids enjoyed! Definitely recommend it was such a charming place! Gave us the Halloween town vibes for the event and we felt very welcomed by the staff and their campers that were staying there! ✅

I had the pleasure of being invited to one of their events. Oh my God, it was so much fun. Everyone was very friendly. The place is very pretty. My son loved seeing the ducks. I hope to bring one home (he asked me for it) He wanted to bring one home 🦆🪿

I stayed here for 90% of October and the services and grounds are continuing to improve daily. The new staff and owners are putting in maximum effort to improve every aspect of the park. I highly encourage people to check out this campground now and in the future. The Halloween event was awesome. Thank you staff and crew for make me and my families stay a very positive experience. We will stay here anytime we are in this area.

This place is a joke, pulled in here for the night and found ALL the sites are on the side of a hill. They expected me to go hill climbing with my 40ft coach and put it on a site that obviously would not fit a large coach on the side of a hill. The site they finally put me on had the sewer dump hole up the hill from the site. Not sure if they knew water does not run up hill. All the sites on this hill had the sewer dumps running up hill from the pad. The most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Got my money back and went to the next park.

We had a great stay at Beyonder Sleepy Hollow! The campground was quiet (but nice and lively on the weekend), clean, and super relaxing. Loved the fishing pond and how easy it was to get around with a golf cart. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to explore nearby spots. We'll be back.

As a traveling health care professional, I can say this was the worst experience of my 4 year travel career. They ran my debit card twice without invoicing me and never would return my calls or emails for an explanation why. Absolutely keep on driving and do not stay here.

Staying here currently about to leave to another state finally. Sooo some sites are insane to even attempt to pull into especiakly for larger campers.. they have had constant issues with water during winter and an ice storm caused all there dead trees to break left and right and penatrated my roof.. Electric has been good.. leanient with extending stay.. people keep to themselves and do get some slight highway noise.. HOWEVER and I cant empashize this enough on how pissed it makes me.. with no written agreement or authorization they continously debit my payment card without my authorization. EVEN though I've called and told them to stop doing it or I'll report them for fraud.. they can send an invoice to your email as they've done before where you can simply pay under your own authorization.. but this lazy good for nothing management seems to think they are above respecting peoples right to authorize payments and just draft it instead of sending a simple invoice. Some people might take these kind of actions alot further legally. Edit** They replied and clearly courtesy goes over this guys head.. you send an invoice when payment is due.. a person pays the bill its that simple.. i never didn't pay within 24 hours of receiving an invoice.. its simple.. send it.. I pay it.. but to just not notify somone payment is due because staff or system is to lazy or bad to send invoice out and just draft peoples account.. thats not how you do business.

If you are going to need to use the bathhouse DO NOT stay at this campground!! The most disgusting bathhouse I have ever been in. Multiple toilets filed with feces. The floor is flooded with water. Covered in dirt, mud, and hair. The shower water times out around 30 seconds. You have to keep pushing a bottom. For the three weeks we were there the bathhouse never got cleaned. After a couple days of being at the campground we went to hook up water (waited for the cold snap to be done) it wouldn't turn on. We contacted the office and she said that she knew it would be before we showed up. Why would you not call and tell us before we show up???? The good is that people keep to themselves and there are ducks. That's pretty much it.
