Stayed one night in late Oct while hiking the IAT. Great hosts. They gave a 10% discount and also shuttled me! The bathrooms were very clean and warm. Tent pad was very nice.

Folks here that own or manage this place were awesome. Our site was nice, clean and convenient to laundry and very nice bathrooms and showers. The location was great, very close to Algoma downtown and Harbor. Some of the permanent sites were run down and not maintained but overall it was a great stop at a reasonably priced. Thank you

We have stayed at this campground over the past few summers and everytime it never disappoints! The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating! They make you feel very welcomed. It’s quiet, relaxing and a great camping experience! The restrooms are very clean, as well as the entire campground! We will continue staying here on our trips to Algoma!

One of the best campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at! Big Lake Campground in Algoma is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—it really set the tone for the whole stay. The bathrooms and showers are immaculate—seriously the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground. Our site was spotless and well-maintained, and the overall vibe of the place is peaceful, relaxed, and just what you want when you’re trying to unwind in nature. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a whole week, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back year after year.

NEw owners as of 2023. They have lofty goals for the place and its shows. Nice campground and we will be back. Thanks for the hospitality. The Wagner’s 😃

Extremely nice people. Well kept. Peaceful. Playground for kids, but I don't hear them 😊. They have both wooded sights and open sun, plenty of green sights with gravel pads. Tents and rv's welcome. Dog friendly 🐾

This is a nice quiet campground that is good for a quick getaway. We were there visiting family and were impressed with how quiet it was here. If you're looking for a a lot of stuff to do you'll have to get out of the campground and explore the small town which is very nice as well.
