WE LOVE BIG MINERAL!!!!!!! Took a last minute trip up and had the best time with my buddy. These fine folks go above and beyond! We blew a tire on the highway and John came out and rescued us in the pouring rain. MY HERO! They even took us out to dinner! Lisa and the crew are extremely wonderful and inviting. The place is clean and the amenities are TOP NOTCH! I love fishing on the docks. All the fish I've ever caught up there were BIG! I can't wait to go back soon! Thanks Big Mineral! 😁😁😁

Rented a Pontoon boat for 24 hours. John the owner was awesome with us to ensure our boating questions were answered, the ladies in the park store were very friendly and made our visit enjoyable. Will try to stay at their RV park next visit. Again our family had a great time.

I Love coming out to this place on my days off to relax and just get in a better mood frame. With some family or friends or even by myself, I always have a great time. If you have little ones this is the place too take them where they can touch in some spots for pretty far out into the lake. Where you can grill out, fish, swim, camp out you name it this is the place too be, and the best part it's always so peaceful

Really good place to go camping and have a good time

LOVE this place. The lake is beautiful and they have a little store on the grounds should you forget something. Only $2 entry for a day of swimming. I'm not sure about RV pricing for campers. I've only gone for the day.

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. We called ahead of time to ask about reservations, and they said they do not take reservations as they have 100 spots. Ok cool, so we traveled from Denton, TX, about 2 hours away. We scoped out the place before choosing a spot in the store side. Not sure where the 100 spots come in, but our #48 was great, beautiful view of the water and not busy enough to have direct neighbors. The marina rents pontoon boats and the owner himself met us and went over the boat and the lake. The boat ran great; no issues. Our neighbors and everyone camping seemed very nice and friendly. Here is the problem we had: we watched the same group of guys fishing everyday on the peninsula day after day. They pulled some big fish everyday. On our last afternoon (Sunday) after they left, we decided to walk over and check it out. It was so littered with trash I was completely disgusted. It made me sad to see that people would leave the lake coast looking this way! I hope this gets cleaned up because we would come back but not if they keep allowing this abuse of our beautiful lakes. If not for the trash, I would have given a higher rating.
