My wife and I love coming here! This was the OG spot for when we first learned how to camp so I would say this is definitely camping beginner friendly. CALLLING ALL CAT PARENTS 🚨 We brought our cats and they enjoyed their adventure! The owners are very nice and attentive! The water pumps and bathrooms come in CLUTCH! We have a lot of space when we go and always have an amazing time! See you in two weeks Big Rock 🪨💪🏾

Campsite was not clean from prior campers. It was good distance between sites. Quiet. Absolutely no cell reception. But my main complaint was the stairs. Some sites including mine had stairs. A lot. And they were slanted and very sandy very difficult to carry things up and down constantly when you can’t keep anything up there luckily we are not too old and could manage but good luck to anyone who goes there not knowing about the stairs, who are old or handicapped. Or out of shape. Other than that, it’s a good place to just set up a tent go about your day and just come back and sleep. Will I be coming back to this one? Sorry no I will not.

A great place to stay in the White Mountains. The campsite was quiet and well kept. The outhouses were clean, and the staff were nice and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again!

We weren't able to make it this year. But this had been our favorite spot to camp for 3 years now. Everyone is respectful, the camp is always clean. When we have gotten stuck in more rain they helped us with providing a tarp and some help. It's such a peaceful camp very little noise from the roads and just the perfect place to just forget about the world. 🥰

LOVE this campground. Stayed there for the first time this weekend and can't wait to come back. The sites and toilets are very clean. The fire pits have a grill, so you you do not need to pack your own. The campground host is AMAZING! I stayed there by myself with my dog and l locked my keys and cell phone in my car Saturday morning. He texted AAA to come out for me. The campground is very easy to get to and only a couple miles from restaurants, gas stations, shops and the highway. Highly recommend camping here.

This place was amazing. It does have the bare minimum (water spigot and vault toilets) but that did not make it any less fun! Watch out for bears though as my daughter and I did see one one coming out of the bathroom one night. Make sure to keep food and toiletries out of your site and you should be good! Enjoy it while you're there. Plenty of things to do around there.

Amazingly clean well-managed wooded site campground with water and privies and very reasonably priced. The nearby river is a great resource and while the Kancamangus Highway is nearby, it is very quiet after dark when you are enjoying supper at a picnic table with a fire ring, enjoying the great outdoors. It's a beautiful place. Enjoy it.

Absolutely loved my experience here. Very clean and maintained. Sites are spread out from each other. In a perfect spot on the Kanc where you can really get anywhere you need without issue. I would plan a month in advance to reserve the spot because they go quick!

Small wooded camp ground in White Mountains. First place I remember camping with my parents as a child. My children love it so far
