The location is amazing...right on the lake. The views are wonderful. Well maintained park, big spaces and clean. The front desk staff could be a little friendlier, they seemed to be in a hurry to get you out of the office. Nice boat dock and a few small ponds. Lots of flowers.

At first I wasn’t sure about this RV park because it kind of felt like stadium parking but I loved it after staying here. It was right on the lake so easy access for paddle boarding or just chilling on the beach. There was an area where our dog could swim also. Laundry was clean, reasonably cost and open 24 hours. Very close drive to downtown shopping and restaurants

Nice RV park It has good space between sites. The beach area is okay. Be careful of the provided chairs many are cracked. My daughter sat in one and it went out from underneath her poking her and bruising her hip pretty bad. The laundry room was nice and reasonably priced. The dryers worked well. My load of towels dried in 30 mintues. I liked that it was close to downtown but not in town. I had originally booked at another campground in town. We are very happy we changed our mind. When in town again, I will choose Blackwell Island.

Not sure what all the nice reviews are about?! The most unfriendly check in I’ve ever had at any RV park EVER. Eager to get you out of their office. No other explanations other than the “Don’ts!” Don’t park on grass, what grass? Don’t put mats on grass. Don’t park on grass. Watering times…WHAT sprinkler heads? There aren’t any! This is the trashiest site I’ve ever been in. Lots of nice rigs and all I can see is a nice lake far far away! All benches need to be pained and trees need desperate trimming. It’s like there is ZERO Maintenance. A guy was mowing this morning and I watched him and there was zero grass being blown nor was any debris being blown away. It’s like his blades were not down. Job security I suppose…dunno. This is a pitiful park that needs desperate help. No pool. No real store in office, way too tiny. I’m in shock at paying $93 a night for what? The name and location. Yet no one described ANY of the amenities! Will not be back. So sorry to write such a negative review yet all true. What little grass there is, has nothing but wrappers, butts, trash and debris. They don’t pick up your trash nor do they escort you to your site. Wow! COULD BE such a gem!

This was a nice park big enough for any size rig no issues. I didn’t give full stars simply because of others reviews. We like many others have two big Mastiffs. They are the sweets girls, we had no issues with any of the park workers but we headed the cautions of other reviews and kept them very close the our chests. We only spent one night so it wasn’t a huge deal to keep them mostly inside with us. It is sad that many others have had park works say something about their big dogs. The park asked us the breed of dogs we had before getting us a spot so they know what dogs are coming in before they approve anyone. That being said the lake front spot is very nice. Fun little trails through the trees with fairy gardens and things for the kids to look at. There is a little dog run area and small pump track for the kids and their bikes.

Great RV park. Wide roads, sufficient space between RV spaces. Includes picnic table and grass area on both sides of gravel parking site. Full hookups, 30/50 electric, water and sewer. There is no fire ring as only portable propane fire rings are permitted. There is wifi available, though only in certain areas. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for one night. Great people, amazing place. If only they have a recreational room or a place to stay when raining, we would have stayed longer We were in spot 112 with access to q small secluded beach and water view No fire pit. Close to the city

We were only scheduled to stay for 4 days. On the way to the campground our truck broke down. Our 5th wheel was towed into the campground. Our truck needed extensive repairs. Ann went out of her way to look at the reservations and moved things around and got us extended an extra 2 weeks. We had a great time . The park is impeccably clean . There are small whimsical Fairey gardens throughout the park. Great trails to ride a bike or go for a walk. It is very close to downtown Sherman street. Saw several families riding their bikes downtown. The bathrooms/Shower rooms are private. Always clean. The laundry room is spacious. The Staff are friendly. The sites are shaded and large. The lake/river are crystal clear. The beach is nice. Love this place!!! We are already booked for next year!! Thank you Ann for taking the time to get us extended so we didn’t have to have our RV towed to the next campground!!

This is our second time here in 10 years, and we would return again. Easy access, plenty of room for a 40' rig with tow. Private beach, walking paths, and an abundance of fine restaurants to choose from. Went to Stella's to listen to music and dine outside watching the sunset. Took a fabulous cruise of the lake. Did the Wednesday night farmers market, which was excellent. And last time we ate at the Cedars floating restaurant which did not miss a beat.

GORGEOUS River views and access. It was perfect for my family. Even had a portion of the beach that allowed dogs. We stayed in our RV here and used the shower/bathroom amenities provided. They were nice and had large spaces to clean up after playing in the river. I would highly recommend. They also had a place to ride bikes up little mounds and a fenced off , off leash dog area and also a little fairy garden next to it (down the trail).
