Bluegrass RV Park
Overview
Bluegrass RV Park offers a quiet, no-frills retreat in the heart of South Baldwin County. This family-owned destination emphasizes a peaceful atmosphere and friendly service, making it a reliable choice for those visiting the Alabama Gulf Coast. While it maintains a smaller footprint compared to massive commercial resorts, it provides the essential comforts needed for a relaxing stay under the shade of mature trees and refreshing coastal breezes.
Location & Surroundings
Situated just off Highway 59 in Foley, the park provides an excellent home base for exploring the region. The surroundings are characterized by a rural, laid-back charm that contrasts with the bustling tourist hubs closer to the shore. Guests enjoy easy access to local grocers, southern diners, and supply stores, ensuring that long-term stays are convenient while remaining tucked away from heavy traffic noise and high-density developments.
Amenities & Park Features
The park features level sites equipped with full hookups, including 30 and 50-amp electrical service to accommodate various rig sizes and types. Practicality is a priority here, with onsite laundry facilities and clean bathhouses available for guest use throughout the year. The grounds are pet-friendly, and the inclusion of basic Wi-Fi and cable helps travelers stay connected with family or remote work during their journey through the Alabama coastal plains.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Travelers are only a short drive from the famous white sand beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. For those looking for land-based entertainment, the OWA Parks & Resort offers theme park thrills, water park fun, and diverse dining just minutes away. Shopping enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Tanger Outlets, while nature lovers can explore the nearby Graham Creek Nature Preserve for hiking, disc golf, and scenic birdwatching opportunities.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is ideal for budget-conscious travelers and snowbirds looking for a quiet, long-term winter residence in a warmer climate. Its straightforward layout and calm environment make it a perfect fit for solo travelers or couples who prefer a relaxed home base over a high-activity resort. If you value a community feel and proximity to major coastal attractions without the beachfront price tag, this is an excellent choice for your next Alabama excursion.

My grandkids could not have any outside toys or even play outside unless their mom or dad or myself was out with them.

This RV park is awesome. It is right outside of a golf course just down the street within riding or walking distance is a really good Mexican restaurant. They have restrooms and a shower house. It’s old, but it works really well. The water pressure is excellent and they have worked with us very well due to the fact that our truck is broke down they are trying really hard to accommodate and we really appreciate that. Thank you. It is 30 amp with water, hook up, no sewer, but there is a dump station on property

I highly recommend Bluegrass RV to anyone in the Foley area. The location is close to the cute little town of Foley, an easy drive from I-10, and is close to Gulf Shore Beaches without the congestion of all the tourist traffic. The best part about the park is how quiet and clean it is. Every site was tidy and respectful of other sites. The owner Kim has always been pleasant in communication and always available if needed. My husband and I will most definitely be returning to Bluegrass if we are in the area again. Thank you Kim.

I visited a friend here, we met at the clubhouse at Bluegrass. Upon observing the park and talking with my friend I saw and heard from her what a great place this is to live. The park is very well kept and according to my friend the people that run it do great at keeping everyone safe. If I ever have to move from the lot we live on I will definitely see if Bluegrass has an available lot. Keep up the great work Bluegrass 🙂

INVOICE CAUTION! I made a reservation in December for a month beginning at the end of May and was fully aware the $200 deposit was non-refundable. The invoice I received was for the total amount, not $200, so I paid it. I was not aware that I was able to change the amount to reflect the $200 deposit. Honestly, it didn’t occur to me that I could change an invoice. They did offer a date change to use in the future but I knew I wasn’t going to return to that area due to work, AND they refunded the amount minus the $200 which I greatly appreciated!
