We stayed at Branch Lake for one month and really enjoyed it. I was amazed by how quiet and peaceful it was during the whole stay. The owners were very kind and helpful and even provided a pancake breakfast for all of the guests one Saturday morning. We didn't mind the 45 minute commute to Acadia. We prefer to be out of the busy areas. We utilized the lake many times in our kayak. The water was so clear and peaceful. I would highly recommend this small family owned campground for a peaceful time by the lake.

It's a nice quiet RV park not a campground but it was nice for a few middle of the week nights. It's quiet, yep said that twice 😁

My friends and I camped here last week (May 15th-May 17th) the staff was very friendly, the lake had a beautiful view with docks, the campground was very quiet (granted it was the very first day the campground opened for the season). I highly recommend this campground.

An absolutely picture perfect campground. Each spot is tree covered. The spots are level. The lake is amazing. And the staff are friendly and kind. I can't wait to come back!

This is a nice RV park with reasonable rates and within an hour of Acadia national park. It is fairly quiet and has water frontage on branch lake. They have a few full hookup sites. But also offer pump out services. We would not hesitate to stay at branch brook camping area next time we are in the area.

Even though there are fewer camping spots for tents at this camping, the installations were perfect for tents and I had zero problems staying there three nights in a row. The owners are amazing people. They were present everyday and they had solutions to all our problems. They are extremely nice. I saw them sitting by a fire and talking with some of the campers several times. We could also buy wood and ice at the camping, something that I loved. Finally, the direct access to the lake was surely a plus. Would surely recommend this camping to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay. It’s also only a 40 minutes ride to Acadia National Park.

Pulled into the campground late afternoon on a Thursday. After plugging in our electric, the default on our system shut down the electric because of a faulty "shore ground". Later that night, after dark, I reported it to Shawn (one of the owners). I made it clear that I did NOT want anyone working on outdoor electrical system at night and asked to run our generator. He immediately gave me permission. At 5:00AM the next morning, an electrician made the trip out to the campsite. By 7:00AM it was working perfectly. The following Saturday was a free pancake breakfast, sausage, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, etc., for not just the residents but also some local friends. These people are wonderful, they treat you like family. Lots of well-mannered kids enjoying the great playground and the swimming area on the lake. The location is prefect to explore Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Ellsworth, Brewer and Bangor Maine. You can certainly find other RV campsites closer to Bar Harbor/Acadia, but you won't find one as friendly, accommodating or better priced. You can pay twice as much to camp and have half the experience, or (if you are very fortunate) you can set up your RV at this wonderful location. A wonderful location for any family.

Lovely campground mainly for rvs and trailers, but they had a section for tent camping. Very friendly family run camp. It's a place to go if you want to spend a lot of time on the lake. The lake is beautiful and crystal clear.
