Lake views from our site was great. The facilities were clean and tidy. The internet service was solid the entire week. Watching the fish jump across the flat glass lake. Tons of birds doing their thing. Including the raptors. Our truck broke down while were there. The owners went out of their way to assist us. It was truly an amazing stay all the way around. Plenty to do and see. Fishing, kayaking, boating, local ghost towns and mines to visit. We will definitely come back. And tell all of our friends and fellow RVers about our experience. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

My gf and I had a great one night stay in one of the yurts along the reservoir. It was private, peaceful and priced well. Would absolutely recommend!

The view was beautiful and the location was awesome for exploring, serving as a good base when visiting Bodie and Bridgeport. I went over Labor Day weekend, so it was a little crowded, but the lady working in the office (didn’t catch her name) upgraded me to a lakeside site and was full of suggestions on places to go and things to do. It’s a very short drive to town and they have a small store on site. I just had one tent but if you’re going as a group I suggest renting two adjacent sites. Will definitely be back!

Planning a trip to this area. I planned to stay here until I looked at their web page highlighting an ATV sporting a "Team deplorable" flag. If that is your chosen method of advertising then no thank you.

The staff were polite, and helpful. when we arrived the electricity was all over the city. It came back on with in an hour. We stayed in the RV area looking right out on the reservoir. It's very beautiful and peaceful. The only negative were the trout flies. We left on the outside light and it attracted the trout flies. I would recommend it just keep your outside lights off.

We were swarmed with mosquitoes and left a day early bc of it. We had mosquitoes on every single window screen. We killed about a hundred inside. We felt trapped in our motorhome. We had our mosquitoe catcher running all day and night. We were in site 21. Electric and water, however, we couldn't hook up water due to the mosquito swarms. We let our dogs out to go potty at 9 pm, and a thousand mosquitoes came rushing inside. We spent an hour killing as much as we could, and the next morning, we had to vacuum up all the dead mosquitoes. All of us, including our doggies, got bit by them. Postive is, this location is beautiful, and there are boats you can rent and fish out on the lake. The office personnel was very friendly and offered a lot of good places to see and do. And eat. She was fantastic and I don't blame anyone for the mosquito swarms, it's probably hatching time.

This is a great RV site! It's located on a picturesque marina with everything you could ask for in a mountain RV park; beautiful sunsets, walkable beach, fishing, picnic tables, and it's super quiet! The staff is also friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this as a stop on your mountain adventures!

We stopped here in September for a stay in one of their “glamping” tent cabins. This spot isn’t perfect - you do hear road noise, and there are no grocery stores or other amenities within reasonable distance. But the cabins are perfectly situated right on the lakeside for gorgeous views, the sunsets were beautiful and early morning lake views sublime. A lot of love has gone into the tent-cabin decor and furniture, they are very comfortable. The cabins have a small deck and cute yard space with lawn chairs and umbrellas. We had a wonderful time and it felt like a little oasis in the desert.

We tent camped here for 1 night. Facilities are extremely run down. Location is by a very noisy highway. Loud campers around us and quiet time not enforced. Staff was nice and the office cat is cute. Probably would not return.

I camped here with my 2 children one night after leaving Yosemite on our way to Lake Tahoe. I almost chose Lake Mono, but was so glad I stayed here instead. It is very quaint and quiet. They have showers for use and a reasonable priced store with items you may need. They also have a beautiful tabby cat. Our tent was right in front of the water but there was no direct access to the Lake for us to swim or at any of the other camp sites I could see. We were greeted by some cute squirrels though and saw some other beautiful birds.
