We brought out 4 horses to ride out West, one of our stops was here in SD. You would be hard pressed to find a better cleaner, friendly camp grounds. Horses were not allowed in camping area and so the bugs were few and far between. Stalls were roomy, safe, and accessible. They were golf carts to drive your tack or feed to the stalls. We rented a trailer to haul to French Creek, Trailhead to Mt. Rushmore and Meeker Ranch to ride up to view the Needles Hwy tunnel. There is riding there at Broken Arrow as well. Great staff, thank you for the superb memories!

This place is terrific to stay at. It has a pretty view and the people are very friendly. The rates are great for the cozy cabins. There is a laundry mat on site. If you have horses, bring them with you, because they have horse stalls and anything you need. Horses must have proof of all shots and vacination paper work also. They have camper spaces as well.❤️😀

Stayed here for about a week. Everyone at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. The location was beautiful and very serene. Custer’s cabin that we stayed in was very cosy and had everything we needed. The bathrooms were also always clean. We would definitely stay here again and are so grateful for the experience!!

This place was awesome. The staff was friendly, the cabin was clean and cozy, the campsite had full hookups. We didn't bring horses with us but it was great to see all the different horses. The view is beautiful and it's very close to Custer and Crazy Horse. All the guests were hard working and respectful. Will definitely be back here.

The compassion and love i received was beyond words. I was traveling alone with my horse and slide in truck camper. About 26 miles away from them my truck broke down. I called them to let know i would be in late. At which time they came out and picked up my horse trailer ,me and my 2 little dogs. The wrecker i called was their neighbor so they arranged to have my truck brought to the camp ground so i could remove my camper and continue my vacation there. The wrecker picked up my truck the next day and took to shop. My horse stopped eating hay and drinking water 2 days later the owners borrowed me their truck so i could go 1 hour away to buy timothy pellets for her. This worked for my horse. I was a complete stranger and they gave me their truck to use no ? Asked. Bless these people. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CAMP GROUND TO EVERYONE HORSE OR NO HORSE ALL ARE TREATED THE SAME. I really enjoyed my time riding there and the beauty is amazing. Easy in and out sites . Other campers there were helpful and friendly. Broken Arrow Campground makes people feel like family.

I have stayed in many different types of campgrounds, ranging from no service, federal and state facilities to upscale resorts and none were more comfortable, friendly and accommodating than Broken Arrow. Broken Arrow is meticulously maintained and obviously very supervised by ownership and staff. And while I have only a layman's understanding of horses, I found their presence interesting and rewarding. Horse owners were exceptionally gracious. I highly recommend Broken Arrow to anyone looking for a relaxing and interesting RV experience at an immaculate facility with exceptional services.
