Travel trailer camping 5 days. Nice campground. Some buildings are older and need a little TLC. Overall wonderful stay. Very friendly and helpful KOA staff.

Beautiful campground. Lots of space between sites. Nice pond, petting zoo, grocery store and restaurant. They offer WiFi, but it does not work at all. We have StarLink, so no worries for us.

I had a 5 night RV site booked. Their cancelation guidelines to receive your deposit back, less a $20 fee, is to cancel by calling by 4pm, 7 days before your stay. I called at 4:15pm on the 7th day before our stay. They are keeping my entire deposit over 15 minutes! FIFTEEN MINUTES! No one even answered the phone when I called, I left a detailed message AND emailed them. Needless to say, I was going to rebook our stay for next month, but will be finding another RV park to stay at. I can't stand pettiness from a business who claims to want your return. No thanks.

Just wanted to say thanks for job well done. From the moment we drove in, checked in we were greeted either smiles, friendly faces and very clean facilities. The gentleman that showed us to our site was very friendly, backed us perfectly and barely needed to level the rv. Park was very clean, neat and all campers friendly. Loved the pond, geese, ducks, cats and watching fish feeding times lol. Restaurant was great! Breakfast, especially those cinnamon rolls!! Wow! And pies! Keep up the good work, we’re local and this is now our favorite spot. Thanks again for the hard work and dedication the entire team has put forth. WiFi was only issue, but let’s be real. I was escaping.

We have been coming to this campground for 15+ years. When it was Rancheria RV Park, it was well taken care of and maintained. Our last trip was very disappointing. The only thing "KOA" about this place is the price. Our campsites were overgrown with foxtails. They have a dog park, also filled with foxtails. The vet bill for removing a foxtail from your dog's nose can be $400 - $500. The bathroom ran out of toilet paper and we had to start bringing our own. If you want to sue wi-fi, you have to walk up to the office. They used to water our site and now it's just dry dirt and dry weeds. They said they were short staffed, but we still paid the same price. We will not be returning and have already made reservations elsewhere for Memorial Day Weekend 2026. We had about 10 sites reserved and the group as a whole was disappointed. I was going to leave only one star, but thought that would be rude.

Our family has been going travel trailer camping at Burney Falls/ Hat Creek KOA once a year for the past four summers. We absolutely love this place! It's a cozy little campground with lots of trees and a nice little pond where you can do catch and release. We love the animal petting area where you can give the animals food. Our dogs love the dog parks. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you let them know something needs fixing, like a bench in the dog park. We let them know and someone went over and fixed it immediately. The place is well kept, with clean bathrooms. I do wish the wifi was a little better. You can get wifi next to the main building only.

Great location to camp at before heading down to SLT, coming from Lassen Volcanic NP. Very clean, nice and quiet KOA. Not too busy, and very spacious camp sites. Looks like they have a café open on the weekends and some activities for the kids. My son loved the bikes and gaming room. The laundry rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The only downfall is it's quite expensive to do laundry, 3.50 and 4.50 for washing and drying. I've been to other KOA Holidays and they don't charge that much. And WiFi only worked up near the office.

The park is beautiful. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the facilities. It was 98 degrees inside the rec room when trying to play ping pong and air hockey. We asked the different staff members to turn on the air conditioner at least 3 times during our 5 nights there. One went and “turned on” the air for us. It didn’t work so we let them know. We asked a couple of more times since it was so hot only to eventually be told by another staff member that there is no air conditioning on that side of the building. It was extremely frustrating to have been led on about it for so long in such heat and with young kids.

Nice campground. We went on a holiday weekend so it was very full and rv sites are pretty close together. Very clean. Heads up- the wifi only works by the office/store. We didn’t need it, but if you do need it, that would be a problem. Laundromat was clean, but $3.00 for a wash and $3.00 for a dry. Washers are small. Fine for clothes, but blankets wouldn’t work. The dryer gives you 45 minutes for your $3.00, but our load of towels and jeans wasn’t dry at the end of the 45 minutes. Other than those things, it’s a great campground. Catch and release fishing at the pond, a game room, petting zoo, playground. About 20 minutes from Burney Falls. Worth trying again.
