Cadillac Ranch RV Park

Overview

Cadillac Ranch RV Park in Bluff, UT, offers a tranquil retreat for travelers navigating the rugged beauty of the Southwest. This family-owned park provides a peaceful atmosphere contrasted against the striking red rock formations of San Juan County. Unlike larger corporate campgrounds, it maintains a personal touch that makes it a favored stop for those exploring the Four Corners region who appreciate a smaller, more intimate setting.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in the historic town of Bluff, the park sits within a scenic valley carved by the San Juan River. The property is surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs that provide a dramatic backdrop for sunrise and sunset. Its position offers a quiet alternative to the high-traffic tourist hubs, allowing visitors to enjoy the vast, open skies and the stillness of the high desert while remaining within walking distance of local artisan shops and cafes.

Amenities & Park Features

Travelers will find essential comforts including full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service available at level gravel sites. One of the standout features of this park is the abundance of mature shade trees, which are a rare and welcome luxury in the Utah desert. The facility also provides clean restrooms, hot showers, and laundry facilities to ensure a comfortable stay for long-term guests and overnight travelers alike.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The park serves as an ideal base camp for some of the most iconic landscapes in the West. Guests are just a short drive from the breathtaking Valley of the Gods and the dramatic overlooks of Goosenecks State Park. Explorers can easily access the prehistoric sites at Hovenweep National Monument or take a scenic drive through Bears Ears National Monument, making it a prime location for photographers, hikers, and history enthusiasts.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is best suited for RVers who value a quiet, no-frills environment over resort-style amenities like pools or clubhouses. It is a fantastic choice for big-rig owners looking for easy access and those seeking a strategic location to explore the geological wonders of Southeast Utah. If you prefer a friendly, relaxed pace while being close to nature’s greatest monuments, this park fits your travel style perfectly.

Prior to booking, I asked specifically and was told we could pump out even though we were booking a dry campsite for our RV - great. I book the reservation via phone, confirm payment and then prior to ending the call, reconfirmed our ability to pump out when we arrived. I was then told (not even 5 minutes later) that all the pump out slots were full and unavailable. We could check again in the morning when someone leaves. Now 8am the next morning and although there’s a number of open RV slots, apparently we can’t pump out in any of those. Only a certain limited number of spots are available for pump out and those are all occupied until 11am. In hindsight, we would have kept looking for an alternate RV park with ample available facilities.

I camped here for a night a few days ago, and had a great experience. It was peaceful, quiet, and had great amenities for just camping. I was vety grateful that there was a trailer with bathrooms/showers, as well as, outlets to charge my phone. The camp hosts were very helpful when I was having car issues. I definitely am planning to stay here again in the future when I come back to the area.

Clean and well organized campground. Some of the best bathrooms I have ever experienced at a campground. Location is great for biking around and exploring the town. There is a nice path down to the San Juan River from the campground as well. Excellent WiFi and overall just a lovely place to stay.

Great place to stay! The hosts are awesome and pretty much knew us by name. The bathrooms, laundry, and dishwashing area is brand new and clean. The only thing I would change was the street light was kinda bright shining into our tent at night but I understand keeping some lights on for safety. Our friends stayed in a trailer slot and didn’t have that issue. :)

We stayed here 1 night. It was easy access from the street, easy pull through sites, very well maintained. BUT THE BEST part was the handicap shower. We travel with a adult daughter who is disabled. This was by far the nicest, most accessible shower I have ever seen! It is gorgeous with a nice built In bench, two different hand held shower heads, lots of room. It was certainly well thought out and very much appreciated!

Wifi could be better but it's a great place to spend a day or two.

Love that it is hassle-free. Nice, quiet. Open and exactly what we needed. Beautiful bluffs in two directions. Puppy friendly. Clean and great! 50 amp perfect on a very cold night. Wifi is excellent! Nice spots with fire pits and places to walk.

Awesome. Spacious. Beautiful scenery. Friendly welcome upon our arrival. We would definitely stay here again, if we were to ever come back to this part of Utah.

This park has some of the top views I've ever seen from an RV park. The host, Mark, is incredibly helpful and kind. The showers are clean, but worn. Wifi was insanely fast and strong signal all over the park. A handful of tent or car camp spots are secluded, cozy but worn. It appears they are doing some overhauls; the common room is under construction, they are preparing to plant new trees, some construction materials and equipment sit at one end and a number of brush piles are being collected. It would be stellar if it was tidied up a bit but it seems they are working on it.

We are live-aboards and were traveling from Washington. Mark was a great host. He helped us with everything we needed. He is from the area so he knew all the places to go and the places to see. Bathrooms were recently remodeled so that each room had a sink, toilet, and shower. The shower had lots of hot water and lots of water pressure.
