Founded in the 1960s, this desert outpost serves as a vital community hub where the states of California, Nevada, and Arizona converge. Location & Surroundings
Situated along Highway 95, the park is nestled in a wide-open landscape characterized by rugged mountains and Joshua trees. The most striking feature of the location is the adjacent Kidwell Airport, a private airstrip that brings a unique aviation charm to the area. Travelers will find themselves surrounded by the peaceful silence of the high desert, offering a stark and refreshing contrast to the bustling energy of nearby metropolitan hubs.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is designed to accommodate modern rigs with ease, providing several full hookup sites that include 30 and 50-amp electrical service. Convenience is a primary focus here, and guests can enjoy the following amenities:
- A well-stocked market and deli for daily supplies.
- Clean laundry facilities and private showers.
- An onsite casino and bar for evening relaxation.
These features ensure that while you are in a remote setting, you never have to sacrifice the essentials for a comfortable stay.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
While the park is a destination for rest, it also serves as a gateway to outdoor adventure. A short drive leads to the stunning blue waters of Lake Mohave, where boating, fishing, and swimming are popular activities. Hikers and nature lovers can explore the nearby Spirit Mountain, a site of great cultural and natural significance. For those seeking more traditional entertainment, the casinos and riverfront attractions of Laughlin are just a quick trip south.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an ideal match for RVers who appreciate a low-key environment and the charm of a quirky roadside stop. It is perfect for long-haul travelers needing a reliable and friendly place to recharge between destinations. Aviation enthusiasts and those looking to experience the unplugged beauty of the Nevada desert will find Cal-Nev-Ari to be a memorable highlight of their journey through the American Southwest.

Level gravel pull through sites, full hookups. No WiFi but good cell service. Laundry and bathrooms are dated but clean. Easy in and out right on the highway but never noticed any noise. Couple of restaurants 10 miles north in Searchlight. Check in at motel next door

We have been to this RV park many times. Really like the location. Like that it is in the middle of nowhere!! The lady that checked us in is nice! The last couple of years the rates have been going up but the maintenance has been going downhill. The picnic tables are a disaster. It advertises a pool there hasn't been one for years, the convenience store is no more. The building where the laundromat is, is falling apart! How disappointing

I stayed in the rv park, it is very level and quiet for a most reasonable price, passing thru. The park is clean and modern and can accommodate most any type of rv. The young lady in the office is Great and most helpful.

Very pet friendly. On a whim, they were gracious to provide us with a pull through. It is 4/14/24 and the price is $33. a day or $450 a month. Electricity included. This RV park will stay on our A list.

We stopped for a night. It was quiet and the sites are accommodating. They do need to cut the trees so that the hanging brances do not scrape across the RV roof or sides. I found the lady running the park to be helpful. FHU for $33.00. Doesn't get much better than that.

Stayed here for a week in March. Prices are low, campground is clean and very quiet, especially in the back where we were. There are a few local residents and a good number of snowbirds. We were here for off roading and you can ride right from the campground and connect to the area trails. No campfires here, they do have a pool. Nice long pull through spots, all gravel/ dirt lot. Nice spot, I'd stay here again.
