Calypso Cove is...just a place to park. It's clean, staff is friendly, although not super-helpful. 1. Internet: There is *none* on site. They advertise Wifi, but it doesn't work at all. When I mentioned to them that it was out of service, I was told that they were "not *allowed* to offer help at all", and was told I had to contact their service provider on my own. When I did, the service provider saw a problem with their wireless service, but could not fix it. 🤷🏼‍♂️ No internet here. 2. And--if your wireless phone service is with AT&T, you *might* have one bar here. 🙈 (This has been proven over two months.) {Remember...no WiFi available here at all!} 3. There are no amenities...whatsoever. 4. It is fairly reasonably priced! 5. Their lawn guy damaged our sewage line. We'll have to replace it when we leave. 😅

This campground is truly a hidden gem. If I could give it 10 stars, I would! We are from Texas and travel all over the U.S., and honestly, this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. From the management to the tenants, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The facilities are great too, with clean showers and a convenient laundry room. We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was such a Godsend. It’s close to all the beaches and attractions, yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The rates are very reasonable as well. We feel so blessed and lucky to have found it, and we will definitely be back again!

Love Mrs. Mary and Mrs. Alice. Park is nice, well kept, and very clean. Close to beach access and a beautiful park on the bay right down the road. It is on Hwy 331 so you have to take that into consideration. There is also a LOT of traffic on the little side road it is on.

Friend made a reservation and paid for it. Calypso decided their trailer wasn't up to their standards and not only cancelled the reservation but refused to give them a refund. Not a place I will patronize.

A nice quiet spot to relax after a day of adventures. Beach and food just minutes away. A Dollar General right across the street. Matt was the best host. Will definitely be back.

Family went down for vacation and after paying full amount to stay they are being kicked out because my uncle who owns built his own Camper is not a qualified (RV) because it doesn't have a mandatory sticker that was not mentioned during time of deposit. Don't waster your money or your time when there are so many other campgrounds that care about there guests.

Staff really helped us in a bind this Winter with a last minute reservation for us! Very thankful for all their help. The newer part of the park has nice landscaping and the laundry is the least expensive option around vs any other nearby laundromats. The local grocery store is three mins away and the beach 20 minutes.

We loved staying at the Calypso Cove rv park! We were close enough to visit Destin but stay out of the traffic. The staff was exceptionally helpful with our reservation when we needed to add an extra day. The laundry takes credit cards which was so much easier than digging for quarters! Nice clean bathrooms, great level spots, cute landscaping and palm trees. I was worried about staying here with the reviews but it appears the bad reviews were years old and from previous management. Don’t let that stop you from coming!

We had the hardest time finding a RV park that would let us use their dump site in the area and we pulled in here on a whim and they were so kind about it! We paid $12 and were able to use their dump station, very nice people as well!
