The location is convenient. The site was level. Office and restaurant were closed, so we reserved over the phone. Lots of full timers at this park. Someone knocked on our door and asked if they could take our picnic table. The site behind ours had bags and bags of trash piled around the font of their trailer.

Our reserved site was occupied by a crazy lady when we got there and she made it apparent in no uncertain terms that she wasn't moving. The campground dropped the ball on us. Mr. Bruce from the campground came and settled the situation. He was very nice and accommodated us as best as he could. We are 2 disabled grandparents with 5 grandkids aging 2 to 14. We ended up having a pretty good time but I doubt we'll go back. The store had an open sign on the whole time but no staff. Just a locked door. The bathroom we used was "fairly" clean but had mouse turds all over the floor.

A ridiculous 30 day cancellation policy in which you have to pay in full. The rate is the highest I paid during a 4 week road trip. I cancelled within the 30 day period and still have not received a refund 45 days later. I had no response to my refund request for 3 weeks and when I did hear how busy they are processing refunds, it has been another 3 weeks and still no refund. DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE, THEY DON'T HONOR THE REFUND POLICY.

We had a disappointing experience here. This seems like a spot mostly for people to long term live. Spots we did get were super tight together and no table or space. Unfortunately, had a negative run in with a long term guy who was a total jerk. And the manager was rude, confrontational, and not helpful after. It was really disappointing. Lots road noise because of i5 but if you’re a fisherman you may appreciate the boat launch (Trying to think of something positive). Overall, not a good experience and do not recommend.

We pulled in and our "neighbors" obviously live there. The mess around their place was considerable - which we got to gaze at as we ate our dinner. We stayed in our RV - the spot was muddy, with enough water for the birds to play in. Good birdbath, I guess. Except our door opened into the mud...no way to move, as we needed reach the hook-ups. A good deal of road noise, which was unfortunate, but we accepted it. The site promised a fire pit. Nope. Did not dare go into the bathrooms...just couldn't...ugh. Upside: Kalama River is beautiful. *IF you stay here...pay the extra money and get next to the river. The rest of the joint's a mess. Will I stay here again? In an extreme pinch and OLNY nest to the river.

We went to eat at the Fireside Cafe they have on property, not to camp. However, the grounds were clean and nicely designed. I'd definitely stop here if traveling or camping. It's very easy to find, and in a safe location. If you're taking a road trip or need a place to park the RV, I really don't think you'd be disappointed here. Only 4 stars, because we weren't camping, and I can't comment on other amenities they might have.

All the showers were out of order. Lost my token that I bought in a shower that did not have an out of order sign on it. Other than that, it's too close to the freeway. You can see the traffic on I-5 from many of the campsites. This is not a destination place unless you like to fish. Adequate for stop over if driving long distance.

Unless you want to relocate at drop of hat due to flooding, do not rent here!
