Needed a one night stop in Wichita. It was convenient to my destination. And the facility is immaculate. Bathrooms and laundry are super clean. Also the owners are very accommodating.

It’s a very tight campground with mostly full timers. We were set up in an end spot so close that there was only 6 inches from the electric pole. We didn’t feel safe but thankfully it was for one night, Another downfall, we couldn’t stay connected to our RV because it was too short!! We were putout at the end and had to put out safety cones so we didn’t get hit

I given them 5 🌟...the manager Jennifer and her husband run the campgrounds ... they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Even the next day they came to our camper to see 👀 how we were doing..never had any campground manager come out to check on us. The grounds, parking, dog 🐕 park, and all the other amenities available were greatly appreciated 👏

Great people that go above and beyond to help get you a spot. Quiet and very clean. Dogs welcome which is a big plus. Definitely check it out. If looking to stay long term storage units on site.

This was a great place to stay while we waited for a house to open up. The staff is friendly and they do fun activities for the family. In the short time we stayed, they hosted karaoke and an Easter egg hunt.

Our stay here was about a month. The restrooms/showers were very nice and always clean. Plenty of washers/dryers in their laundry room. Everyone was very nice, polite and welcoming. On the day we were supposed to leave the winds were horrible, we were trying to wait it out to see if it died down. We also had a sick baby we had to take to urgent care on our way we stopped in the office to tell them the situation and to pay for another night. We were told to not worry about paying for the night and to go get our daughter taken care of. We appreciate your kindness and hospitality! Whenever we make it back to Wichita we will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed from Nov. 2024 thru 2nd week in March 2025. Very nice gravel RV park. Reasonably priced. Not a lot for kids to do, but quiet, very helpful and friendly staff. Convenient propane on site. Nice laundry room. Good store for camping essentials. We will be back, as it was a good experience.

We stayed at Camp on the Range in January 2025. The weather was very cold, but the camp site was nice. Our site (37) was very level. The temp our first night dropped below zero, but the water supply was heated. The camp store had heated hoses cheaper than on Amazon. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, and two other employees. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We were in Wichita for an event at the arena downtown. The commute was about 12 minutes.

I recently stayed here for the second time, and it was another fantastic experience! As someone originally from Wichita, I can confidently say this park is located in a very quiet and safe part of town, which adds a lot of peace of mind when traveling. The standout feature, though, is the incredible staff. Don, the manager, truly goes above and beyond for his guests. He helped me a lot when I had questions about filling up my propane tanks and hooking up the water in subfreezing temperatures. He took the time to explain everything in detail, gave me some really helpful tips and hacks, and even invited me to join their family dinner in the rec room! Camp the Range is truly a hidden gem. It’s quiet, safe, and welcoming, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The level of kindness, care, and hospitality here is absolutely unmatched, and it’s clear the staff genuinely care about their guests. Whether you’re passing through or staying awhile, I would very highly recommend this park and can’t wait to go back myself!

We stayed there 3 days visiting friends in Wichita. Very nice campsite. Bathrooms and showers were updated and very clean and attended to often. We felt very safe there. Camp store with most things you would need.
