This is a well run organization. Brian, the Director is on top of everything with Chris and the gals in the office who are always super helpful and pleasant. The location is amazing being just steps from the private beach. The residents are incredibly friendly. I couldn't ask for anything more. I can't wait for next season to open.

Safe summer side retreat near the beach! Two large shower room areas and laundry if you need it.

Great location and nice cottage to stay at which was right on the beach. I was worried there would not be enough room for my family of 4 and the dog but it was fine. The great weather helped and we booked again for next summer .

This peaceful place is a hidden gem! We offer cleaning services for trailers, and we were amazed by how beautifully and organized it is. The beach is just a short walk across Old Wharf Road, and you’ll be right on the sand. Isn’t that incredible?

This resort needs to change it's reservation system and scheduling practices. I have been attempting to reserve here for several years. They never know when the reservation schedule is or will open and by the time they do and you call, they are completely sold out or booked. They only have 4 transient sites out of over 200 and charging top dollar. They are making money hand over fist! Getting a seasonal site is impossible as well. For the 4 transient sites, they should require 7/6 days reservations Only. No one wants to set up for 2 nights only. They literally have no availability for June, July or August except for very scattered dates! Sincerely, Sun Retreats, improve your reservation system. I would do several weeks at a time if available. Very Unfortunate.

Very eclectic, long-time stay vibe with a wide mix of mobile homes many very close together. Transient spots were wide enough and easy enough to access but far from entrance/beach. Not many bathhouses but modern and clean. Good size concrete pad in well cared for site with picnic table and grill. An easy walk to a private beach and good biking to see the area, go to public parks for tennis or walking. Playground and some other play/amenities at campground.

We stayed in the front in D3 for 3 weeks. Low voltage and several power outages destroyed our Aqua-hot system so new rigs beware. There was so much sand in the fresh water that it ruined our carbon filters in our Berkey filtration system. So annoying $500 out of our pocket for these repairs. They have changed management so unfortunately not as friendly and nice as it used to be. But music on the beach some weekend was fun.

Camp sites were not as great as they could have been, but the private beach was wonderful.

Upon check in, began to notice the change in the atmosphere, staff were more friendly and exhibited concern for any issues noted during the stay by emailing the issue to them. Even when standing outside of the office waiting for a delivery, staff questioned if they could help. Appeared that the loop had been paved making it easier to walk around. Camp sites were well maintained.. Beach area was enjoyable and clean. Looking forward to another visit.
