Can't say enough good things about this campground and its owner. We have been to tons of campgrounds over the years an this one is one of the quietest and peaceful ones we have been to. I never had to worry about my kids here. Junie is the best host we have come across so far she and Dave go above an beyond to make sure you have a good stay. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at Camptown from May to August in 2021 while my wife worked as a travel nurse in Richmond. I would recomened Camptown to anyone staying in the area. It is well maintained, conveniently located and has everything you need, including community. Previous reviewers have mentioned how much they appreciated the owner, staff and other guests staying at Camptown, and we felt the same during our time there. They are amazing people, and they made us feel at home. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely visit again.

A great low key campground with friendly people. Thank you Dave for the septic tip about downy. We used a tide-pod and it worked great.
