Carroll Woods RV Park at Grapefull Sisters Vineyard
Overview
Carroll Woods RV Park at Grapefull Sisters Vineyard offers a unique camping experience that blends the lifestyle of RVing with the charm of a working vineyard. Located in the quiet countryside of Tabor City, this park provides a tranquil retreat where guests can park their rigs under a canopy of mature trees. It is an ideal spot for those who appreciate the intersection of nature, agriculture, and high-quality hospitality in a relaxed setting.
Location & Surroundings
Situated in the southeastern corner of North Carolina, the park enjoys a prime location that feels secluded yet remains close to the action. The surrounding landscape is characterized by lush coastal plains and agricultural beauty. While the park offers a deep sense of rural peace, its proximity to the South Carolina border means visitors are only a short drive away from the Atlantic coastline and the lively atmosphere of the Grand Strand.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is designed to accommodate modern travelers with spacious full hookup sites offering both 30 and 50-amp service. Guests have access to reliable Wi-Fi, a modern laundry facility, and exceptionally clean bathhouses. A standout feature is the on-site wine tasting room, where visitors can sample local vintages. The property also includes well-maintained nature trails and a pet-friendly area, ensuring a comfortable stay for those traveling with four-legged companions.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
While the vineyard provides plenty of relaxation, the location serves as a gateway to regional exploration. A twenty-minute drive brings you to the sands of North Myrtle Beach, providing easy access to oceanfront dining and shopping. Nature lovers can explore the nearby Waccamaw River for kayaking and fishing. For those who enjoy sports, several championship golf courses are located within a short radius, making it easy to balance leisure and activity.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is perfectly suited for couples and travelers who prefer a quiet, upscale vibe over the high-energy environment of traditional beach resorts. It is an excellent choice for wine lovers and those seeking a scenic home base while exploring the Carolina coast. If you value a park-like atmosphere with spacious sites and unique local flavors, Carroll Woods provides a sophisticated alternative for your next road trip.

Our schedule was off from their's, but Very accommodating! Reasonable price, excellent campground, clean and quiet. Good spacing between sites. Have to stop in at the Grapefull Sister's Vineyard. Amy is very informative and a joy! There are other products there if you aren't a wine connoisseur. We will definitely return.

This was our return trip. We were cut short last time, the wife had a fall and we had to leave unexpectedly. Very happy to report no accidents this time, just a very relaxing, enjoyable time. This is such a nice little place, its quiet settled among the trees, well kept property. The staff, owners are just pleasant, friendly folks. We will be back, enjoyed the conversation, wine tasting and time here.

We spent Labor Day weekend and it was a great experience as always! It was also our 15th wedding anniversary and we appreciate the note on our vehicle hang tag wishing us a happy anniversary. Shelby loves her welcome goodie bag! Thank you again for another great weekend! We look forward to coming back soon!

Another amazing, peaceful, relaxing weekend! We took time to enjoy the pool this trip, which was perfect to beat the record high temps we have been experiencing. We already have several more trips booked and can’t wait to be back!

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. We had the tropical storm come through, lots of standing water due to the large amount of rain. So drainage could be better. That's my only complaint. Staff- 5 stars, facilities- 5 stars, folks camping there - 5 stars. We had a blast. If we come back this way again, we would definitely stay again. Great campground!

This is an amazing campground with level and shaded sites. We will be back often. It is just minutes from North Myrtle Beach and all that you want to do there.

My husband and I stayed in the campground for the month of May. It's a beautiful place and we enjoyed it. Lots are good size with plenty of shade. The grounds are nicely kept and it's out in the country. The owners are super nice and willing to help with anything needed. Highly recommend Carrollwoods Campground.

I found this Campground while trying to secure a spot over Memorial Day weekend while we're travelling. This Campground is an absolute gem! Sites are nicely spaced apart (compared to many places we've been). It is sooo quiet & peaceful here. It is off the beaten path (dry county, so if you need beer or whatever, you might want to stock up in advance. We traveled about 12 miles back into SC to get the hubs some beer, but it was a lovely drive thru the country to get there. Wi-Fi is OK. Over the Air channels came in really good (& lots of them!). We have been full-timing for almost 4 years now & are slowing down on our travels, but if by chance we're ever in this neck of the woods again, I would stay here in a heartbeat
