For $180+ a night for spot F10, which is one of the top tier sites with it's own grill and gazebo, I was not impressed. Day 1, a Thursday, was fantastic. We woke up on Friday with an animal poo on our paved gazebo area. I assumed it was from a cat or raccoon because we had zero neighbors. Friday comes, and the heathens start rolling in with their 5th wheels and toy haulers. The kid activity picked up as the kids arrived and got on their 4 wheelers and go cart type, noisy machines. Our neighbors pulled in to what I assume is F11. It's a spot with hookups but not the premium gazebo. They had 3 dogs running loose and they set up their tent, picnic table, and trailer basically right on top of us. Why does a premium spot have a shared driveway with a basic site? Friday night was loud and the people at a few of the sites, "first responders" which was quite obvious with their "try that..small town" stickers and other flags, began howling at the moon. All the while their unsupervised children kept cutting through our campsite. They clearly weren't raised right, so tell them to go around did nothing. The howling and barking and "fireball" call was absolutely obnoxious. I wouldn't want any of these people first responding to any incident of mine. Saturday, even more noisy kids and noisy "bikes" zooming all around the campground making a whirrrring sound. Saturday night, even more noise, howling, and "fireball". Sunday, we woke up to 3 piles of shit on our paved patio. This time it was clearly dog shit and clearly came from our neighbors at F11. Their dogs were running loose the entire weekend and clearly used our patio that we paid extra for as their toilet. The staff at the store and the staff on the grounds were 5 star. However, I will never return to this overpriced hell on earth. It was full of white trash and other trash. Honestly I was afraid I may be charged for the 3 piles of dog shit left on my patio. It's worth trying every place once, but can't fool me twice.

The spaces at Cassini Ranch are overpriced, dusty, and surrounded by Poison Oak. My husband's exact words were: 'I have never seen this much poison oak in one place in my life!' We camped with two high energy 4-year-olds which resulted in a lot of stressful moments to keep them away from the poison oak surrounding the campsite on 3 sides. We all came home with some poison oak exposure. If we had any rain, we would have been swimming in a mud puddle. The facilities and playgrounds are run down. Everything looks like it has seen better days. There are some activities for children. However, the campground is full of young families with children, who are packed in very closely to each other. If you want a close to nature and peaceful experience, you will not find it at Cassini Ranch.

I’m not a gatekeeper… but if you want a safe, family-friendly, dog-friendly, memory-making campsite—Cassini Ranch is the magical spot. ✨🐶⛺️ They plan weekend themes (Labor Day = luau 🏝️🌺) and activities galore. I book site 56 a year in advance because it’s centrally located, perfect for tent camping, and holds 8 people—plenty of room for our crew + friends. Dogs? Everywhere. Kids? Everywhere. Friendships? Instant. My kids ride bikes, scooters, whatever rolls, and somehow end up with new buddies daily. One night my kid was roasting s’mores with another family while I patched up a random child with my Band-Aid stash (camp mom life 😂). The Russian River runs right through the campground—shallow enough for little kids, but also perfect for giant floaties, kayaks, canoes, rock jumping, or just plopping a chair in the water under a canopy all weekend long (nobody touches your stuff, it just stays there). Pure summer bliss. ☀️🛶🍉 Extras? Oh, they’ve thought of it all: • Cabins, tents, RV hookups—you name it. • General store + laundry (yes, civilized camping). • Movie nights, hula dancers, bonfires, hayrides, parades. • Volleyball, basketball, a playground, and the legendary jump pillow. • Bike parades where kids decorate their wheels with glow sticks and follow the golf cart caravan at night (adorable chaos). • Showers that are clean, hot, and timed by the quarter (6 minutes = 4 quarters; 7.5 minutes if you splurge another). 🚿💰 Security actually enforces quiet hours, so you get fun and sleep. And if you don’t feel like doing anything? Just sit by the fire, read your Kindle, sip something cold, and watch happy kids + cute dogs parade past your site. Instant serotonin. ❤️ If camping had a “best of” list—Cassini Ranch is at the top. Book early, trust me. Oh there’s small bats that appear at night to eat all the bugs! It’s cool to watch! And it only lets me post 50 photos but I have so much more to show you so instead go and enjoy this place yourself!

If you don’t have the luxury of spending top dollar for the “better” campsites I don’t encourage you to stay here. Not only will you pay a “booking fee”, you’ll pay the campsite fee, THEN pay for every camper within the campsite. Should that be included in the initial campsite fee?! I overheard my neighbor because they’re only inches apart how they got in trouble with staff for their kids riding around on their bikes over the speed bumps. They have very strict rules and are constantly watching over you. Don’t be a minute early or a minute late checking out because there will be even more fees applied. Definitely feeling like a money hungry place after my latest experience there.

So we actually could not stay here bc the site tents are literally surrounded by walls of POISON OAK. we are very used to dodging poison oak from past camping trips but its is crazy prolific there. Basically all of the sites are located in a sea of highly developed brush of poison oak. It has been cut back but we couldn't take a chance especially traveling with a little one who touches everything. It was a huge bummer bc we were so excited and overall the camp itself has a really fun and a very family focused vibe. Also the staff was super nice at check-in. But my husband is very allergic and there was no way really to avoid it and we couldn't take that chance. Mostly writing this review to warn people in case they are very allergic.

This was our Maiden voyage for our first RV🎉on a whim we booked this place and my expectations were exceeded. We were previously tent campers for the last 18 years and had no idea what we were doing with an RV 😬every single person we came in contact with went far beyond and out of their way to accommodate us and help us to teach us. We were in the best hands possible for this Adventure! Casini Ranch had Marc take us to our campsite help us back in,help us set up our electric and our water. We even had a snafu 🤨and Casino Ranch had their own store to purchase the things that we needed for hook up. He even came back a couple hours later to check on us, I’ve never had this kind of customer service anywhere we’ve ever been. We also had an issue with our Gray water tanks being completely full! casini Ranch has a service where they come to your campsite and for a very small fee and a big tip well deserved, drained our black water and gray water tanks not once but twice💧💧💧 I could go on and on about how fantastic the services are,but the campground itself is in the most beautiful spot Our dogs absolutely loved the river Our teenagers. Had a great time on Their paddle boards and if you don’t have all the bells and whistles, they will provide it for you with kayaks paddle boards and even golf carts. We were only there for two days and can’t wait to come back for a week. We missed all of the excitement like the bonfire Saturday night, but the activity list at this campground is full of exciting things to do. We even saw a deer on Sunday night when most of the campground emptied out I can’t say enough about how fantastic Camping is @CasiniRanch Campground. If I could, I would give them 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏕️🚐🦦

For our families needs it does not get any better than this place. The staff assisted us to find the best spot for what we were looking for. Right on the river with easy access to Guerneville.

Casini: Our Second Home We’ve been visiting Casini every other month for over a year now, and each time, we fall in love with it even more. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like we’ve found a second home. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and I’m even impressed by the general store. They always have everything we need, and the prices are great. It’s like we stumbled upon a hidden gem when we discovered Casini. We can’t wait to go back and recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a fun and welcoming place to stay.

We rented a riverfront RV spot and absolutely loved our location and the campground. The Wi-Fi service is outstanding. Great coverage and great speed. The facilities are all clean and well kept.

We love coming here. It is a beautiful spot on the river. The facilities are well maintained and clean. They have great staff who are friendly and stop to engage you in conversation to make sure you have everything you need (shout out to Camp Host Anthony for you help with firewood). We've already booked our trips for 2025! There are a couple of nice places walking distance (a bakery, a sandwich shop, a bistro). Wifi is strong. Good mountain biking and kayaking.
