The campground was ok. Easy to pick a spot either online or do what we did which was drive around looking for a level open site and then book it online. A lot of the sites were very uneven and we had to try a few before finding one that wasn’t horrible. You are literally right next to the highway so expect a lot of noise. We didn’t use the facilities but the place is kinda rundown. Was ok for a quick one night stopover.

ROAD NOISE, campground is 50 yards from I-80, closer than mose rest areas are to their interstate, so loud you can't hear yourself think. My spot was the closest to the interstate, maybe spots father away could be quieter but probably not much ELECTRIC, my 30amp service was OK, but its straight wired into their grid with no breaker, yes I have a surge protector but I fell more safe under a breaker box like every campground I've stayed at (36 states) PAD, my camper pad was unlevel gravel that I had to drive across 50' of grass to get into (spot E15), thank the lord it wasn't raining. The rest of the campground i can not give a fair review for i did not use it. It may be 5 star for some but with the road noise probably not. I have only given a two star review 2 times in my travels, most of my reviews are 4 or 5 star I've been to all the states west of the Mississippi (accept Alaska) and to all the eastern states except the New England ones and I always try to be fair to the campground owner in my reviews, but I believe in being truthful. The price was very reasonable and it is a beautiful looking, well maintained Campground.

This is right next to the highway so it is a little off-putting at first but that helps with the noise from others around you so no real noise complaints! The campground was awesome! Staff was amazing, super nice and helpful. There is so much for the kids to do. We stayed over Labor Day weekend there were 12 of us and we all had a great time! (Also campground is close enough to order Walmart delivery in case you forgot something 🙋🏼♀️) Kids ride bikes, swam in the pool, we all played mini golf, participated in a bags tournamanet, rode the hayrack ride and barrel train carts. We also did the 4 hour float down the cedar river! It was a fantastic weekend and we will be back!

What a great stopover! Not far from the World's Largest Truck Stop, this campground has a pool, planned events including karaoke, decent pricing, dump station, sites with power & water...we did not have a reservation but Melissa was so gracious to get us into a site for the night as we were passing through back to Canada. We are not planners at all so this last minute stop was perfect for us. Friendly staff, great family atmosphere. Our first site was a bit more sloped than we had hoped and they were very willing to accommodate us by allowing us to pick another site, much appreciated!! If back through here again, we would camp here again but maybe stay longer to use the pool!! Site E 10 is fairly close to the highway but the sound of traffic didn't bother us. If you are a light sleeper, request a spot farther from the highway.

Overall pretty good experience. We like the pool, mini golf and game room for the campers. We love our electric scooters and we were told (after many camping trips and camp ground that we cannot ride them, but the drinking and driving of golf carts is okay along with the electric bikes i kept seeing ride around) So unfortunately we will Not be back unless their electric scooter policy changes. God bless! 🙏🏻

We didn't know there would be a quarter mile of gravel to the campground with a steep hill down to our site. Bathrooms weren't cleaned-winter dirt on toilet seats in the permanent bathroom near the river with leaves blown in /neglected. Grass wasn't mowed. Full price even tho nothing was open. Mini golf had debris all over. The road was washed out near site c4, which was a pull through for our 65' motor home and towing a truck. We did have basic water, electricity & and sewer, but it was not worth the full price. If you have kids, this might be fun during the open season. People drove by on a golf cart but weren't friendly. If you are desperate for a night, a walmart parking lot would be better because of the highway noise. Amenities would get 5 stars if they were ready.

Nice camping spot. We originally had a back-in spot but wasn't appropriate for our 36' rig. Melissa upgraded us to a pull through, which was perfect, no leveling needed. I 80 runs parallel with the campground, but the noise wasn't bothersome to us. We try to find campgrounds close to the interstate when traveling to our destination spots. Thank you Melissa, for helping us with the switch.

Melissa at Cedar River was so helpful to us when the spot we reserved was not a good fit. It was a nice campground with mature shade trees. Lots of family friendly stuff to do. Only thing was the expressway noise but it was fine with a fan to drown it out.

We absolutely love this campground! The owners are nice and extremely helpful. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful. My kids love the pool, snack bar and the pool house. We especially loved candy bar bingo! Is next to the I-80 but that has never bothered us. I don’t notice the sound until someone asks about it. Permanent spots are close, but again that doesn’t bother us, especially with awesome neighbors. Great rates! Fun activities on the weekend! Super quick to cleanup after storms.

Water was orange and the shower house was absolutely gross with mold in one of the showers. Spots were almost too tight to pull campers into because they are so close together. Owners seemed nice until they weren’t. If they approach you with a problem and you disagree with them, the first comment is they will not argue with you and will have the sheriff remove you. You either agree with them or you have to leave. There is no in between. They were selling liquor during events without a liquor license. Pool is not open at this time. Very run down and no clean up after recent storms. They charged for everything because they have to make money somewhere they said . Interstate is loud and bright lights from the giant billboards. They seemed to cater to the people who have seasonal spots and don’t care about anyone else. If you camp by the overnight pavilion they hold events there and it’s right next to your site. Our vehicles were blocked in by ATVs and golf carts during the event.
