We stayed just before Christmas! Nice little campground with spots by the river and clean vault toilets.

Cool off-grid camping . Some of the sites might have enough clear sky to get star link but don't count on it. Awesome dirt roads and fishing here. Georgia Traverse is close by.

We had an amazing experience at Tallulah River Campground! The location is absolutely breathtaking—nestled between the mountains and surrounded by nature at its finest. The river runs right along the campsites, which made it peaceful and perfect for relaxing by the water. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and ideal for RVs. Easy access, spacious spots, and plenty of shade. We loved waking up to the sound of the river and enjoying coffee with a view! If you’re looking for a serene, nature-filled escape, this place is a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back! 🚐 Highly recommended for RV travelers who enjoy nature, hiking, and tranquility.

Best quiet camping spot in have been to lately. The site is right on the river banks and fishing is easy here.

We love this campground. Hate that they have gone to making reservations on line. I got the last two campsites available for the days we wanted. There were numerous empty campsites while we were there as so many people don't show up but don't cancel the reservation. Wish they would go back to first come first serve

Nice quiet campground, some sites are right on the creek. I did a full walkthrough on my YT channel outdoormary. Watch the video so you can see what campsite might work best for you. The road getting to the campground might be tough for any rigs 30’ or more.

Nice little spot. A very pretty river nearby. Facilities were maintained. The nearby road didn't have much traffic and was pretty quiet. Site 10 fits 2 vehicles very well.

Best place ever, a memory from visiting since childhood. They have made many positive improvements in the last 30 or 40 yrs, but the roads are still difficult past the 1st campground. Our refreshing visit ended all too soon, and we were trapped by a jeep rally riding from Hiawassee over to Charlie's Creek and the ford. Before & during our stay, the host was very helpful and friendly. Needed the honey wagon to visit much sooner than it did, but grateful after the odor diminished some when they had really cleaned the bathrooms. They were very hardworking and efficient. Other campers did not all observe quiet time. 😒 But, the lullaby of the river and crisp smell in the air off the water, watching the moon rise from my sleeping bag, visiting favorite spots and seeing how they had changed-- worth it all. 🏕😌🍁
