Loved this campground. Campsite we had was large and did offer some degree of privacy. The bath/shower house was very clean. The campground host were awesome! Cheryl and Paul were very knowledgeable of the area and resources. Cheryl could not have been more helpful or friendly!

Been here many times. Beautiful overlooks, easy enough walk to the falls, nice lake to swim in.

Beauty all around. Just a wonderful place to see, explore, and enjoy. If all you have time for is to stop at the scenic views along the way up the mountain in your car it is well worth it. The recreation area around the lake is great for a picnic and a swim. The trail to Benton Falls was rewarding.

Our visit to the Chilhowee Recreation Area was a perfect Sunday getaway. It offered a blend of scenic drives, serene lakeside moments, and the breathtaking beauty of Benton Waterfall. It's a place where nature's wonders can be fully appreciated, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful escape in the great outdoors.

Great trail, but super busy. Disappointed to see a fair amount of garbage on the trail. Easy hike out to the falls which did not disappoint.

Great views, excessive vandalism that is often sexual in nature.

My favorite place to go. Been going since a kid in the 60s. So beaitiful but so sad to see the beach area go down. They need more sand really bad and there's a lot of garbage. Please keep it clean, add sand and don't allow smoking!!! .

This park is a gorgeous Mountain retreat for a campers and explorers. The drive-up is easily accessed on a smooth and well-maintained paved road. There's several terrific overlooks with plenty of room to pull over and Park around 8 cars. And the camping area has a mountain top lake and a public restroom. We even had decent cell phone signal on AT&T when many of the areas around have not had signal at all.

Although it takes a little while to get to from my home town in Chattanooga, the views and the grounds are clean, beautiful and a refreshing retreat. All of the amenities were pretty well kept, and we had a great time at the little beach and swimming area.
