Clark County Shooting Complex's RV Park

Overview

The Clark County Shooting Complex's RV Park offers a unique stay for travelers visiting the northern edge of the Las Vegas valley. Known primarily as a world-class destination for sport shooting, this facility also hosts a modern RV park designed for those who appreciate organized, clean surroundings and a secure environment. Unlike the high-energy resorts found in the city center, this park provides a functional and serene atmosphere centered around the shooting sports community and outdoor recreation.

Location & Surroundings

Perched at the northernmost point of Decatur Boulevard, the park sits against a backdrop of rugged desert peaks. Because of its elevated position, guests enjoy spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip and the valley floor, which come alive with lights after sunset. The area feels remote and peaceful, yet it remains conveniently close to suburban amenities. The surrounding landscape is characterized by wide-open spaces and the stark beauty of the Mojave Desert, providing a quiet retreat from the city's neon bustle.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is well-equipped to handle modern rigs, offering 80 full-hookup sites that include water, sewer, and electrical service with both 30 and 50-amp options. Every site features a level, paved pad, making setup simple for large motorhomes and fifth wheels. While the park maintains a minimalist aesthetic to focus on utility, it includes essential facilities such as restrooms and showers. Security is a priority here, as the RV area is situated within the gated confines of a professionally managed county facility.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Activity revolves around the complex itself, which features world-class ranges for trap, skeet, sporting clays, and archery. For those looking to explore further, Mount Charleston is a short drive away, offering hiking trails and cooler temperatures in the higher elevations. If you crave local entertainment, the Aliante Casino and Hotel is nearby for dining and gaming. Additionally, the park serves as a great base for visiting the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument to see ancient geological formations.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is the ideal choice for competitive shooters and archery enthusiasts who want to stay exactly where they play. It is also a fantastic option for travelers who prefer a budget-friendly, secure stopover that avoids the congestion of traditional Las Vegas RV resorts. If you value wide-open horizons and a quiet night's sleep over onsite pools or organized social calendars, this facility offers a practical and scenic home base for your southern Nevada adventures.

We came to Las Vegas to visit my wife's brother. This place was very close and affordable. Large pull through sites and full hookups. No other amenities but the views of Las Vegas are great!. You also have to be comfortable with gun fire as you are right across from the skeet shooting area . Check their website or hours as when they are not open it is real quiet here

You can be a gunman without a rifle. You can archery a fossilized arrowhead without a bow. You can be Armed with a pair of guns without any firearms. Whether you are there as a practicing marksman. Or running up that elevated pathway for personal achievement. That mountain peak view never gets old.

Great range, best price, and friendly people working there. The left side is 50 yards for pistols, and the right side is 100 and 200 yards for rifles. I will keep coming back here.

Love this place! It’s so quiet at night! Lovely view at night looking down on the city lights. The workers keep the place spotless, loved the gated park after hours. 0nly wish our spots were paved and had picnic tables. Gravel is just dusty, but then again we are in the desert. We enjoy the North side of town and all the shopping available. Of all the parks we have stayed in, this is the best place. Definitely #1,…

I have never been to a better range with range control, helpful RSO’s and overall professionalism. The short safety course you must watch was great and the staff was great to get us into the range quickly. Nice targets and top of the line facility. I’ll be back and looking forward to it!

This is an awesome place to stay. $35.00 with full hookups & the views are spectacular. They are very friendly & the shooting ranges are great. Everything is so clean. Close to Vegas if you choose to go into town or play on the Strip.

We stayed in the RV park for a week. It was $30 a day for FHU. Sites are spacious. It is gated so no one will bother you. It was quiet at night. You can hear some shooting during their business hours.
