Nice campground. Quite a few sites next to Lake. Saw many deer. Easy access to lake for bank fishing. Did not catch anything but also did not try hard. Temp was 97 with a heat index of 107. Would stay here again when not so hot!

Stopped for the night on the way to Indiana. I am pleasantly impressed with the beautiful trees and lake. Highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful relaxing spot right on the lake. Lots of birdwatchin. Plentyof shade. Very quiet, only heard crickets at night and birds in the morning. Dump available at the gate.

We opted for a water view site rather than a full hook-up site; full hook-up sites were in the trees. Nice, but not on the water. We had a nice back-in site with a full side view of the water. Nice afternoon shade too. Mostly quiet except some kids jet skiing out in front of us (they were camping nearby). And a few campfire talkers on the weekend up beyond quiet hours. There were a couple hiking trails, but it was cooler walking through the campground closer to the water. Our campsite, B-12, was fairly level.

We lived at Clear Spring Campground in a Motorhome for 5 nights in Oct 2021! :) •Pros: We loved our site (B18)! We had a close neighbor on one side, but they were lovely, and the space we had on the other was great! The park was peaceful and well maintained. •Cons: ANTS ANTS ANTS! On our first night, they infested our RV, and we battled them our whole stay. They were sugar or "piss" ants, so it wasn't the absolute worst, but we ended up spending quite a bit of $$$ on eco-friendly ant repellant at the closest Lowes. Beach was also a bit messy, but the beautiful sunrises made up for it. •Highlights: Amazing site, large space, and close to the restroom/shower building. •Our recommendations: Please introduce recycling at your facility! •Furbabies Review: Cookies (our dog) absolutely loved the wide-open area at our site. Cream (our cat) had fun having small pests to chase inside the RV. :P Thank y'all! We're off Livin' the Dream with Cookies & Cream. :)

Nice spot on the lake and park is very well kept. We look forward to stopping here again. But beware of the railroad crossing on Clear Spring Road-clearance can definitely be an issue.

Clean, quiet campground. Nice staff. We were the only tent around. Lovely lake view but very cold in November. Bathrooms were decent, a little buggy. Only issue we had were a ton of biting ants around the fire pit but we just avoided the piles. Will definitely be back when passing through Texarkana.
