RV and some tent camping with access to boat docking, swimming, softball park, playground , splash pad park and beautiful views of Seneca lake! Price to tent camp is more expensive than your local state park with less trees for shade.

Campground is convenient to Watkins Glenn SP, but the sites are gravel and weeds, no laundry facilities , and the bathrooms are disgusting!!! They leave the doors to the bathroom open all day & night, vagrants use the bathrooms, they are not ADA compliant (there’s no wheelchair stall), a wheelchair cannot fit into the shower area, there’s hundreds of bugs all over the toilets, floors, sinks, etc.. The sanitary napkin disposal boxes have not been emptied, and there are spiderwebs covering the ceilings, windows and in every corner. The lights are filled with 1,000’s of bugs! The majority of sites are permanent residents, and they’ll tell you that their rent keep going up, but no improvements are being made. For almost $100/night, you don’t get your monies worth!

I appreciate the online registration, but the camping is small, the lots have little to no trees, the facilities are full of spiders and bugs- clearly not cleaned or dusted regularly. For $100 a night, I expect more from the amenities- and facilities. However we did very much enjoy the level parking and gravel for our pull through.

The location is what is great as it is within walking distance of the town. But the campground is not clean (especially the toilets and showers were very dirty) and very very close together. Not really any privacy and as it's close to town not a nature vibe. The lake is close but other than that you will be between roads, which is the price to pay when you want to be close to the town.

Clute memorial Park is a spot I come back to frequently. They have tent and RV spots, and plenty of parking. They cater to boaters as well. If you camp with dogs, this area is super friendly for your canine. Even the Walmart, not far away, allowed dogs inside, as do most of the wineries and distilleries. This park is a short walk from Watkins, Glen State Park, many restaurants and boat rides. The office is always very friendly, and there is good, clean facilities for showering.

An awesome gem in the middle of Watkins Glen and wine country. Skip the KOA prices and distance and come to clute memorial! Craig at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Everyone that worked there was delightful. They kept the bathrooms clean which was great. There were some small spiders and mosquitos but that’s expected. My only issue was the doors lock on the inside of the family/accessible bathrooms but when you leave you can open them while locked and easily forget and pull it shut and lock it. That happened while we were there that someone locked it and we had one less bathroom. The campgrounds were level. You are right across the street from playgrounds and walking trails and Seneca lake. About a mile from town and can walk to it easily. Walmart is right next door, too, so easy access if you forgot something. The prices can’t be beat and being that this is also a seasonal campground people take great pride in it and care for the area.

Cannot say enough good things about the park & the campground. My dog walks me around the perimeter of the entire lakeside park (and then some) each morning. (Her "walk" speed is my "power-walk" so we both get great exercise.) The park has a swimming area right on Seneca Lake & kid-friendly swings & other fun equipment for children, as well as many picnic tables & fire rings...Not to mention the lake views from everywhere in the park! The campground (across the street from the park) is excellent. It is well-tended, has areas for RVs/trailers, tent camping & boats and the office staff is always very pleasant & helpful. This is our 3rd year here & hope to book again for next year. With wine country just up the road, how could this NOT be our very favorite vacation venue?!
