Colona's Scott Family Park

Here at Colona Scott Family Park we have many options for an experience out in the great outdoors. The City of Colona received it back in 2013. Hidden in rural Colona, IL the park is a great nature getaway. Enjoy a stay in one of our 6 cabins or camp in a tent or RV. Fishing and kayaking in the pond or swimming in the pool on those hot Midwest summers. We also have a pavilion for small parties and barbeques and the Lodge Clubhouse for any type of celebration.

Very nice, large campground. Clean, kept up. Ponds for fishing and paddle boats. Indoor swimming pool. THE BEST BBQ I have had in a long time, right in the center of the campground.

We enjoyed the campground very much we stayed here while on a work contract everybody super nice helpful shower house very clean staff kept campground very clean loved the golf cart parade on weekends... Thank you the Masseys

We stopped in to visit our son and his family and friends camping for the Fourth of July weekend. It was so fun and festive. All the people were friendly and it was a wonderful relaxing time.

This place is PATHETIC paid $25 for me and my family to swim mind you we had a 2 month old puppy with us, they didn’t say anything at the gate at all to us about him. We get to the pool my kids are swimming and some lady had a big issue with my putting the puppy in for a second. LITERALLY ONE SECOND. and she called the front desk and the lady who we paid our way in said we had to go with the dog very very rude lady, I was being rude back but you seriously are kicking out my family over a puppy. And then the lady said we ruined her family’s day like how. I said I wanted my refund, and they didn’t give it back. I’ll be back to get my refund. Yall cannot just refuse to give me my refund when we were there do legit less then 30 minutes. What a joke.

Very nice city owned park. Lots of potential. Met the mayor! Good guy. Just stayed one night, and it met our needs. Many seasonal sites. Good experience. Thank you Colona!

Stumbled upon this campground last minute and we were so glad we did! Found a non electric tent side towards the back right alongside the creek. Hot showers in a clean facility. Keep your head in the clouds!
