We stayed here recently 9/23/2025. At one time this was probably a nice facility, but "fishing lake" empty, lots of trees cut down, not good, level sites. The "Free WiFi" is non-existent, could not receive any e mails and cell phone service also no good. We booked in for a week but after two days we moved.

5 stars simply because the staff were out of this world! We full time and have never encountered nicer staff. My only complaint is the campsites are very small and we had to ask to open places like the lounge. The activities were fun! Kids had a ball. Very centrally located to everything.

We had a great camping trip this weekend for my grandsons birthday party & it's a awesome place to hang out with the family! The fishing pond was so much fun & we caught 5 nice trout, playing bingo was fun, pool & hot tub was a great time with the grandkids & family. All the staff were super nice & helpful. The girls at the store & check-in were so amazing. Sue 😉 was so helpful & answered all my questions. We will definitely be camping here again soon. Thank for a fun trip!

We had a lovely time staying at Colorado Heights Camping Resort for a few days. It is a very family friendly park. It was close by to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The facilities were keep clean. (Showers and Laundry). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Sue and Bill went out of their way to make sure our stay was top notch. We would definitely recommend this camping resort to others.

What a lovely surprise when we arrived to spend time with our son who is stationed at Fort Carson. The folks who helped us book bent over backwards to ensure we had a good site and comfortable stay. There are Lots of amenities including a pool and hot tub. Sites are not huge but are absolutely sufficient I would stay here again for sure. It is lovely. There are nice paths to walk our big dog, lots of gorgeous views and overall has been the nicest stop we have encountered in the last week of travel.

Absolutely fantastic spot we want to tell everyone about but also keep a secret! We booked the same day and went the Sat/Sun of fiesta week and there were so many activities. Bonfires, potluck, pinatas (kid and adult), karaoke, bingo, pancakes. The hosts are great and everyone is so friendly! We were in spot N42, which ended up being perfectly located next to the amphitheater where the events took place. The pool was nice and clean, and the playground was fun. We also walked all around the property and explored the clubroom. Quiet time is strictly enforced at 10, and everyone respects. We quickly made acquaintances with a couple of families but one of the most memorable moments was when our neighbors told everyone at karaoke that it was my husband's birthday and had all of us go over there so we could sing him happy birthday! We then went back to our site and shared cake. Our other neighbor also hand makes kids toys which he gifted to our 1 year old and we also bought a puzzle from him! I am probably missing something, but it was a totally unexpectedly great experience! 10/10 we will be back!

We stayed almost a year through this last insane winter. My family were safe enough to ignore the occasional jake bellows from the trucks on 25. We were made to feel welcome and overall it was easy to feel good about being there. Can’t beat it. Easy 10/10 experience, do recommend.

We were fortunate that it was dry while we stayed at this campground, however most of the amenities were not open while we were there. Also, many of the sites are not level which was a challenge. Would not recommend for large units as the roads are narrow and tight.

No amenities are opened during winter. No restrooms, no showers, no hot tubs, no WiFi. Do not recommend if you come after September. Office only opens for 1 hour from 8am to 9am. Way too many trees, it’s hard for long trailers. The map looks like the camping site is so big, but it’s actually all next to each other, not big at all! we missed 2 turns because the road is literally next to each other. Will never stayed here again.

DO NOT COME DURING WINTER! Again. Do NOT come during winter! NO RESTROOMS. NO SHOWER. NO WI-FI. ALL AMENITIES ARE CLOSED FOR THE REASON. You paid $65 per night for only electricity hookup. The office only opens 8am to 9am. You read it right. Only 1 hour but still nothing is open!!!! People~~Read the reviews before coming!! The site is actually very small, but they made it look big. Everything is next to each other, way too many trees and super narrow paths for RV!!!! We couldn’t wait and had to check out at 8am to GTHO.
