We only stayed two nights. The location is beautiful and set along the river, but that’s it. It is primarily a seasonal RV campground. The bathrooms were horrible. They were not clean and the toilets back up easily and they smell. It may be from the water. Individual sites were ok, but the concrete patio was all broken up and uneven.

Highly overpriced! When we booked our reservation it was about $500 more than anywhere else we’d stayed. I accepted thinking the dock was included. It wasn’t. Didn’t launch there because the launch slab was shifted 6” and I didn’t want to risk dragging the trailer. There was a lot of golf carts driven by kids, often without an adult. No quiet time was enforced so it was party central throughout the week. The ladies shower room leaked into the main area and the water was terrible! Rotten egg smell like 10! The concrete slab in front of the camper was so cracked and shifted that I rolled my ankle twice. But the pool was nice!

This is a very dated campground. They have quite a few seasonals. Most of the sites that are for weekenders are very small. We felt very closed it but it was shady. Our poor neighbors couldn't put out their awning because it was so tight and would have hit a tree. The bathrooms were clean but very small stalls. The showers were hot but the water was stinky. The main bathhouse could use some updating for sure. The playground is very dated and some of the structures felt unsafe. The view of the river is very nice. The employees were very friendly, helpful and the camp host was great. The concrete around the pool was very unlevel but it was clean. It is not heated so we couldn't swim because of the cool temps. All in all I would not stay here again.

This campground is rough. Problems arose as soon as I arrived for my stay. Trying to back my 34' camper into a space not big enough for a tent ( couldn't even open my awning the sites were so small). I finally get my camper situated and unhooked from my truck, I go to plug in my electric and the 30 amp plug I need has duck tape over it. I travel down to the store to find out what's going on because I need that outlet. They inform me it is broken and I can just use the 50 amp plug. I don't have a 50 to 30 amp adapter. They make some calls around to their employees and find one for me to borrow for the weekend because I refuse to purchase one since the site was supposed to be 30amp compatible. After getting all set up, my son and I travel down to the playground were we find a. Very run down and dilapidated playground that is not up to any kind of safety standard. There were rotted boards on the benches, on the play structures, exposed nails and screws and just poor upkeep of any thing on that playground. While at the playground, my son keeps bringing me batteries he is finding on the ground. He and I spend about 15 minutes and clean up roughly 10 batteries we found. We then go back to our campsite and I start looking around and realize our site is littered with cigarette butts, as a non smoker I find this repulsive. On our second day, we travel down to the "heated" pool and find that it is 58 degrees. We then travel back to our site where we spend the rest of our evening, our site neighbors bring us over a paper someone had placed on their windshield because they had left on a low level light on the exterior of their camper. The office staff denied being the ones who placed the paper on the windshield of the vehicle and apologized for the passive aggressive behavior when the neighbors hadn't even broken any rules. Speaking of rules, they only seem to apply to weekenders. The season guest can have dogs roam free, can scream and cuss at each other until midnight or later. Long story short, this place fell far short of any expectation you would have of a modern campground. It's like going back to the 80s and just staying there. By the way, that's the last time their bath house was updated.

My family and I camped at Conestoga over the 4th Holiday. The campsite we had (site 22) wasn't overly wide or deep for our 24' camper with a slide but was full shade. The bathhouse was very dated however it was clean. The showers were hot. Our kids enjoyed the pool very much. The campground had a fantastic fireworks show and activities for the kids. Overall, a nice day. If you're looking for something more jazzy and RV resort style this is not the place.

We got a super small spot (didn’t know that when we booked) that was along the walkway. We couldn’t even put our awning out fully. Dirt. The fire ring was BEHIND our camper and when the camper pulled in behind us, we would have been at their camper to even have a fire in our fire pit. They ended up leaving but we definitely will not go back.

If your ma and pa are first cousins or you are married to your sister or have a 6th grade IQ then this is the place for you. Worst experience I have had this whole year. Office is no help if you have issues

It was sheer luck someone found this website! We couldn't have been happier. Had to be in Spring Lake for a family emergency and could not have found a place more accommodating. The Camp Hosts were warm and friendly, the maintenance personnel all friendly. Had little time for the pool but was happy the hours were late for a brief swim.

My wife came here as a child so she insists we visit here each year. That is the only reason I would Ever stay here. Imagine 4 parking spots from your grocery store, 2 side by side and the 2 directly across, and that is essentially the space you get to put your tent, fire pit, and vehicle. You are so close you can hear the conversations of campers around you. Store opens late and closes early, prices seem high, bathrooms are Usually a quarter inch of water and nasty. Arcade for kids has out of order signs on 90% of the machines (so 1 or 2 work), docks are shaky and sinking partially below the water. Kids cut through your camp site, people are drunk yelling past midnight, and people are constantly driving around golf carts which beep when reversing. Ive stayed here 5 or 6 times now, and each time I consider putting my foot down and saying never again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Cute Conestoga wagon themed RV park with several sites overlooking the lake. Golf cart and water sport rentals available on site. Showers have excellent water temperature and pressure. THE LAKE IS BEAUTIFUL AND OFFERS MANY WATER-RELATED ACTIVITIES, BUT THE AREA IS VERY BUGGY. We would be willing to return/ recommend.
