The new people that run the campground are awful!! He blames everything on the owners who live in New York. He was extremely rude, condescending and abrupt. Over 50% of their seasonal campers have left. The bathrooms were disgusting. The events advertised on the website were false. We will never come back.

WOW — I’ve been coming here my entire adult life whenever my parents visit, and what a difference a year makes. I’m not sure what’s going on, but the older gentleman was unfriendly, and the place just doesn’t feel well maintained anymore. Thankfully, one of the seasonal campers — someone I recognized from years past — was incredibly kind and offered me some dog bags for the dog park since the box was empty. In the past you saw people working all the time, we never saw anyone, except sitting at a table in the pool area smoking, lack of work certainly shows. Dirty facilty was very sad to see - shower house use to be beautiful and always clean, my Mom said it wasn't cleaned the entire time she was there. Unfortunately, several of the campsites (especially at the bottom of the hill) had trash overflowing, which really took away from the experience. If you decide to stay here, I highly recommend getting a campsite site at the top of the hill, those camp sites seemed much more maintained the location by the dog park. The office also reeked of cigarette smoke, which was disappointing. On the plus side, the kayaking and walking trails are still beautiful and worth doing. Other than the nice lady with the Great Dane and Beagle(and the poop bags) , though, we won’t miss much — we’ll be finding a new spot for my parents’ future visits. Very disappointed.

It looked like a very nice place, but unfortunately, we weren't able to stay there because our reservation we made was for a 34 foot fifth wheel trailer. The first sight they gave us my the bed rail on my truck was a quarter inch away from hitting the fifth wheel, so we couldn't get on that site. It was too unlevel, and then the second site they gave us. I had to ask 4 neighbors to move their vehicles to get packed in which I wasn't about to do so, we ask for a refund, hopefully it's coming.

Had a few nights stay! First and far most, the people running it, were super friendly and made the check in process so welcoming. The pool was clean and the perfect temp on these hot days! The bathrooms and showers were clean! Always saw a cleaner in sight! Campsites were a little close but well organized! Thank you for the stay! :)

Very nice staff, been here a few times before. New management and this was the best stay we’ve had!! Very nice rentals. Fishing and kayak rentals right across the street, bait shop is located inside where you rent the kayaks. Everyone is very friendly there. Will definitely keep going back!! Very relaxing.

We used to love coming here but we will never come back. I’m very disappointed with the way the new management handled a situation concerning my son. Additionally, when we booked this months ago, we were told the pool would be open. Then we were told not until Monday. The pool opened Monday but you now have to pay to swim. That’s not disclosed anywhere on their website. Beautiful campground, but we won’t be back. Canceled all of our future reservations, as well.

My sister and I stayed at Countryside, and it was an overall amazing experience. From the moment we checked in with staff to check out, everyone was friendly and helpful! The staff went above and beyond to even recommend many nearby activities for us. The campground feels very homey and cozy. Great community!

This place is a lovely family run campground with many amenities and has always been very clean and welcoming to us when we've gone the last 2 years! We dont have our own RV yet, but they have several cabins and RVs available to rent and my family and I have always had a wonderful time! There us easy access to Mogadore Reservoir where we also spend a lot of time fishing! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing weekend camping trip at this awesome campground. They had last minute reservations open which is super hard to come by. The grounds were nice, there were hiking trails alongside the beautiful lake. They had fun things to do like a miniature mining/panning area, arcade/rec room, giant checkers board, goats and other great activities kids of all ages would love. They also had brand new bathroom and shower areas. The lady in charge of the camp ground was super sweet and very helpful. They also have a mini store/office that had a lot of different items you could need. I will be for sure going back next camping season.

Love this campground. Great staff. Nice sites, fair prices, lots of activities if you have little ones. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed .. and we’ve been many places. Would definitely come back.
